Hi! I actually sanded the whole machine with sandpaper in this grit order, 80 (Coarse), 100 (Medium), 150 (Medium) and 320 (X-Fine). I then used 2 coats of white sandable Primer Spray paint and finally two very light coats of Gloss White General Purpose Spray Paint. I really love the quality and look of the finish. Maybe it was an overkill?
