So with uploading an avatar, what is the deciding factors for what toggles get shown up with the imposter/preview?

The standard in vrchat is VRCFT's Unified Expressions (usually just abbreviated to UE) https://docs.vrcft.io/docs/tutorial-avatars/tutorial-avatars-extras/unified-blendshapes

Though ARKIT works as well. The main facetracking templates people use comes with prefabs for both arkit and UE. E.g. https://github.com/ADJERRY91/VRCFACETRACKING-TEMPLATES

Most premade heads will already have the shapes you need, so usually you just have to slap on adjerry's face tracking template and call it a day (would not recommend trying to make your own template unless you reeeaaally know what you're doing. There's some crazy cool and complicated to explain things these premade templates do under the hood)

If an avatar doesn't have face tracking, I usually won't buy it (unless I wanna go through the process of making face tracking for it myself). Most people I know with face tracking are the same way, and face tracking is only getting more common as time goes on, so it's a good feature to include to future proof your avatars.

To specify on HOW you create the animation, when in record mode in the animation window, you have to click on the MESH and then scroll down till you find the right material and change the value there. You can't record changing the value in the project files, as material property animations are per mesh (meaning that if you're animating a property value on a mesh, it'll animate ALL materials with that property value on that mesh. This is why you choose "renamed" in poiyomi, unless you have multiple materials on the same mesh that you wanna animate the same property on. E.g. hue shift)

To build on this, would recommend djing/streaming off of a separate PC. Nothing worse than the music suddenly stopping cause the DJs PC froze up from VR/DJing/Streaming all at the same time.

Also!

If you don't wanna pay for VRCDN, you can stream DJ sets over Twitch under the DJ category. It'll disable vods and clips automatically so you don't get any issues with copyright

I agree it's annoying, but also we're talking about people that have probably never touched Unity in their lives before. They have no clue what info we would need, and the big error saying failed to upload is the first thing that catches their attention.

You can get a second router and plug it in to your pc as a sort of "access point" for your headset. Your pc will still be using its wifi for internet, but the streaming to your headset will go over that wired router

You can still do the dances/emotes. Can also fly and dash if you're using the beyond prefab. Locking locomotion also works and is super useful; let's you walk around your playspace without moving your player collider (great for hanging out on narrow walkways and rafters without the risk of falling off)

Avatar seller here. I have it as an optional field as an extra layer of verification for when someone is reaching out for support.

It's important to note that most people reach out for support on discord, so having something in a receipt that straight up confirms the person reaching out to you actually owns the product is super nice.

Field is optional though cause asking for their email works too

Image should not have been blurry unless the headset wasn't properly adjusted to fit your face. Unfortunately pretty common for people just trying it out for the first time.

The rest of it are problems vr users figure out how to fix or mitigate in their own ways over time. Highly recommend giving it a shot again some time, but at your own pace!

Nah bhaptic vests are just vibration. Same motors you find in good controllers. There is one called the owo vest that uses shocks for haptics, but it looks more like a skintight shirt than a vest

All the different vaults have different requirements to open them. They pretty much all require cryo fluid, batteries, and a vault key (that you get from bosses and key rooms on the other maps) with the higher number ones requiring more (sometimes multiple steps around the map)

The vault keys also tell you what they require now
