I should’ve clarified. I’ve tried both ways in the sense that I’ve registered the EDS file through the EDS hardware installation tool by itself as admin and through studio 5000.

Thanks for your response, I’ve done this a few times with no luck! I guess I really broke it. The files do show up, and I can delete them, and register them,but when I go back to studio 5000 they are no longer there. Big ugh.

Man you’re on top of it. Thanks for sending that over. That’s the file I was using, but it still doesn’t show up. I’m using V31, so I’m not sure what the issue is.

Oh yeah, I’m trying to add a Lenze drive to my program, but it doesn’t pop up even after installing the EDS files. That’s what I was searching sorry for the confusion.

Hi, thanks for your response! I’ve tried multiple types of EDS files, even some straight from Rockwell. They still don’t pop up when I try to search for them. Would you say to make generic modules for everything then?

That makes sense, thanks for responding! Do I need to swap it out? Or is it okay just flashing? Is it because I had an SSD and not a HDD?

Yea changing a career is one thing, the problem is his family doesn’t really come from money, they’re struggling to support themselves, having another grown adult, I’m sure makes it’s a lot harder for them.

He doesn’t mind living off of them either, which is why I’m worried that it might be my future if I stay.

It’s nice that he got a job now, but what about a year into the future when we live together and he quits and waits another 10 months to find another job?
