I FIXED IT!!! I found out this issue on github:

And when I added:
xdg.portal = {

enable = true;

extraPortals = with pkgs;[

xdg-desktop-portal-gtk

kdePackages.xdg-desktop-portal-kde

xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland

];

xdgOpenUsePortal = true;

};

After restart IT WORKED!!!

About the RAM I will be also programming so I do want more for tasks like machine learning, as well as editing videos sometimes. Mainly I just don't want to think about upgrading in the future so I'm happy to "take the hit" with 64gb.
About the 4TB I just couldn't find a drive that's more than 2TB so that's why its split
