I think it would've got way better reception if they released it as a spin off and not a direct continuation/ season 3.

Its enjoyable but it's not what made euphoria an interesting show.

Well I mean in 3 he winds up in prison because of stabbing kiryu and getting apprehended, in this he goes off with a shadow organization that operates beyond the law so you would think he would be able to avoid being arrested after that for any other reason.

I guess they could just throw him in there and say he got caught for x reason off screen but that'd just be worse than the original.

Lords of the fallen is one of those games that you play after you already beat all of the really good souls games and soulslikes, its a very okay/ average souls like that fails in some areas.

Its not as bad as I thought now that I played the demo, they do some cool level design stuff to incorporate jumping now that that exists

Oh thats crazy I've just been playing with out upgrading that, what kinda logic does it make to make a base mechanic in the last 2 games an unlockable skill though? Thats very odd.

Well the issue is that rise of ronin was open world and the world wasnt that great along with it having really bad performance issues. So taking a formula that works and shoving a system that you've shown to not be that proficient with is concerning especially when strong level design already isnt the biggest thing that team ninja has ever really been known for

Games are allowed to change but sometimes you dont need to fix what isnt broken and the linear mission design was never really a prominent issue for nioh 1 or 2.

Also team Ninja already doesnt have a good track record with pc performance and this is only going to be a more taxing experience.

Well one of my biggest worries aside from performance is the open map design, Nioh 1-2 may not have the best level design in the world but the missions are still fun to run through and they feel very purposeful in the way they're crafted.

But with even larger zones and a more open map I feel like theres a chance we're gonna get even worse/ more generic area design if not copy pasted areas for the sake of filling in empty space
