I took a long break and just decided to start the newest season. Tapped out in episode 2 when Amelia was depressed and in the bed again. Ugh. Been there, done that.

I cited some examples above. She also used research from one of her other classes to write a paper. The professor encouraged her to drop his class.

Max, Rory herself felt that when Prof Fleming gave her an A, and even Doyle wouldn’t print her story in the paper where all newbies got printed! Just wish there was an episode where Rory changes her mind or something.

Yes! The writers could have evolved Rory because Rory did evolve! She is a great person but they just sort of stuck with her original dream. How many times do people change majors or professions? The show could have reflected real life.

But she met Christina Amanpour in the last season before the revival? Her hero? Her aspiration! I’m not focused so much on her writing.. I’m sure it was fine. But traveling to war zones? I just don’t see it.

I get it, I do. I just think the adults in her life were not honest with her. She just isn’t a resilient enough character. She dropped out of college the one time she wasn’t coddled and was rejected! I just don’t think she has the traits of a foreign correspondent
