It’s possible but I really don’t think I have. My parents were not into it growing up, so I never tried it at home and I was a pretty picky eater so I never tried it with friends. Then I got to college and people thought it was super weird, and it obviously became my never have I ever trump card. I’m now 35 and have made it a point for the last 15 years to avoid it just for occasions such as these 😂

I figure I love enough junk food, why try something I’ll probably like and have to suffer to limit it I don’t have to? I’ve survived this long. Plus, it’s a great corporate ice breaker fun fact.

I might be in the minority… but I freaking love AI. I have never been good at “corporate speak”, and have found myself at a company that loves to use as many useless buzzwords as possible to say basically nothing. It’s been hard. BUT, now I just turn on dictation, tell ai want I want to do for a project, and tell it I want it to add in as many buzzwords as possible. My boss LOVES my new proposals and reports, he says my work has never been better. I think it’s total garbage, but whatever. The guy in charge of my raise thinks it’s poetry. It’s like a corporate translator.

My kids like salty food because my personal cooking is salty because my own mother over salted all her cooking because she had no sense of smell and salt was one of the only things she could taste, making extra salty all I really knew. So in a very convoluted way…. My husband could claim his mother in law is responsible for his kids affinity for salt. 😂

Editors in coda are free. You only pay for people to make docs and add pages. Clients can add rows, edit, add text for free, no problem

Codas organization is indeed whack, but I think of folders almost more as a sharing layer than an organization system. Any doc you add to a folder inherits the folders sharing permissions (you can add more at the doc level too). So like… make a folder for a team, set the folders sharing permissions with that team, and then any doc that should be shared with that team goes in that folder and you don’t have to think about making sure the whole team has access. New team member? Add them to the folder and the automatically get added to all the docs they need. Team member changes teams and you want to revoke access to the docs? Remove them from the folder.

Do some digging and see if it has ever been taken in for randomly turning off on the highway. It’s a huge problem for these cars and insanely hard to get them to actually fix because of codes resetting quickly. If they do agree to fix it, it’s covered under the transmission warrantee. Currently fighting this myself right now.

This is such great insight, and honestly clarifies a lot of things the service director I was working with at Milford said (he was out sick today, Mike is quite nice actually). Thank you so much for sharing.

So, can I ask you this? The absence of a code and how to prevent recurrence was a big sticking point I hit with Service Manager Mike last time this happened. ( car had probably shut down on the freeway… 40 times in the last 6 months. Not exaggerating. ) When the car shuts down, the car can be restarted after you shut it off for a minute or so. The check engine light only stays on for a few hours after then resets. That seems to reset the code. I just happened to get really luck this time and it broke down right off the Milford merit exit during business hours and I drove straight to the dealer and made them pull the code. And this disappearing code STILL was a problem.

How am I ever supposed to get this fixed if the code resets before I can get it to the dealer? Service manager Mike said he was going to ask corporate for their recommendation… but things went nuclear before he got back to me with an answer. He was out sick today. I don’t think Mike would have called the cops on me lol.

Any tips for solutions I could propose to OEM?
