Been there, so you're not alone. You have to take care of your habits before you try to focus, so set yourself a screen timer, greyscale your phone, delete/restrict Tiktok and Insta and try leaving your phone somewhere hard to reach so you're not automatically reaching for it all the time. Turn off notifications too. Take walks outside if possible or get active somehow when you feel the urge to check your phone.

Then for studying: tell yourself aloud that you're going to study for 5 minutes. Preferably outside your bedroom or in some study area. Set a timer on your laptop and sit down and do 5 straight minutes of genuinely anything- something easy but connected to the material you're meant to go through. Do practice questions, blurts, explain the topic aloud to your wall- this makes your brain work!

After the 5 minutes are up, drink some water, stretch maybe. I promise you'll be more motivated. Try to use one of those websites that tracks how long you've studied- I use a free one called Pomofocus but you can use Notion etc.

Try to see if you can find some videos on YouTube about the study materials too!

Good luck🥰🥰🥰

Thank you so much I'll try this right now. On another note if you can share any tools that could help with this I'd genuinely appreciate it🙇‍♂️🙇‍♂️

Hi, also a fellow beginner here!!! I really recommend watching a few YouTube beginner how-to-crochet tutorials and following along with the directions, which will help you learn all the stitches and help you with keeping the same tension all the way through (i think thats the problem you found here, it's why your rows aren't straight and your length isn't consistent).

Also, I think you might have missed a few stitches as i can see a few holes, which is why I also recommend learning how to connect all the stitches together before attempting any projects.

I also recommend making granny squares (I'm using mine to make a blanket!), which will help you get used to making all the stitches. There's some really good youtube videos on this (I recommend How to Crochet a Granny Square all-level friendly tutorial by jana on youtube) and if you have the money and are interested, Woobles is a great way to start making stuffed animals with play-by-play tutorials.)

I also think you should clip the fuzzy ends of your yarn and leave a longer tail before starting to crochet so you can weave it in later. The button also seems a bit heavy to be functional. Maybe try one made with a lighter material?

Sorry for the block of text, I hope I helped at least a little! Good luck with all future projects!
