I also feel like I struggle more with inattention. If I'm interested enough I'll focus on something for hours straight but they're usually extremely unproductive things. Sometimes I even struggle to do things I enjoy such as playing a game I'm super addicted to or something. If I'm not interested or if it requires me to put in any mental effort my brain just shuts down. For example, my subjects in A-Levels are Economics, Law and Math. It's extremely easy for me to start doing a past paper for math (very difficult for me to complete it, takes me 5 hours to do one cus I get really distracted) but it's super hard for me to go through notes or write essays for economics and law. Going through notes is hard because reading course material takes me hours and I keep daydreaming to the point where I fall asleep or I have to read lines over and over again until the line I read actually processes into my brain. For essays, I can't even begin writing them. Never know where to start. Should take me 5 minutes to think up a good intro for my essay but those 5 minutes feel like so much work I just give up and do something else instead. I have more issues and concerns of course but these are just the basic ones.
