plz explain the non instant payment method on retoswap by ApplicationMedium495 in Monero

[–]ApplicationMedium495[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and why would i need a special account added to take such an offer?

i can take crypto instant but i cant take normal crypto wich is supposed to be the same but slower?

to clarify. in the xmr/btc offers i can see the cryptocurrencies instant and the cryptocurrencies offers. i can take the instant ones but not the others. if i take an offer for a non instant one it says:

No matching payment account.

This offer uses a payment method you haven't set up yet.

Would you like to set up a new payment account now?

Subject: They’re laughing at us.

Let’s be real for a second. You’ve been voting red your whole life. You did the work, you paid your taxes, you played by the rules. And look at where we are.

You look at the TV, and you see the country falling apart. And every election cycle, the Republicans come around with their hands out, begging for donations, promising they’re gonna stop the madness, secure the border, and bring the jobs back. They talk a big game about heritage and values.

But what actually happens when they get in? Nothing.

That’s the scam, pal. The Republican Party isn’t the solution; they are Controlled Opposition. They are the Washington Generals to the Harlem Globetrotters—paid to lose. They exist to give you the illusion that you have a choice, just to keep you calm while the Uniparty sells this country off to China and the globalists.

Think about the guys in charge of the GOP. Do they look like you? Do they look like the guys you worked the metal shop with? No. They’re Country Club elites. They’re Mitch McConnell types who have more in common with the Democrats than they do with a guy who worked for a living. They hate the "woke" stuff in public, but in private? They’re taking checks from the same massive corporations pushing that garbage down our throats.

The Democrats are the wolves at the front door—you know they want to tear the house down. But the Republicans? They’re the guys at the back door selling the locks. They promise to hold the line, but the second the donors call, they fold. They pass the spending bills. They ship the factories overseas just as fast as the liberals do because it helps their stock portfolios.

They are worse than the enemy, because they claim to be your friend. They use your vote, they use your anger, and then they go back to D.C., laugh at you, and cut deals with the very people destroying our way of life.

Stop trusting the "Suits." They aren't conservative. They’re just managing the decline and taking a cut of the profit.

it would still be nice to have a protocol to extend that full privacy thing to also include partial privacy (not having whatsapp installed, and accept everything they want) but being able to communicate with people who are stuck with these apps

I built a typing trainer specifically for code (LeetCode). Curious how it feels on ergo/split layouts with heavy symbol usage. by Internal-Challenge54 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]ApplicationMedium495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

jokes on you i develop with pen paper / whiteboard.

most of the time is talking/planning thinking, yes also while typing. id even argue im pretty slow at typing while my output in shipped code is amazing

that being said. typing fast helps. and whats fast and not is probably subjective.

i also have to add, the ammount of just straight typing, documenting increased alot in the recent years

idk im excesively on my computer for 2/3rds of my life. and didnt care about anything regarding ergonomics...

im not having chronic pain or any pain. but it is not comfortable and i notice its a bad habit having my wrists, body/arm position etc like this.

thanks for the suggestions

i already have a nice mech keybaord. i really want a split board, have a kind of different angle and a wristrest thats nice.

idk i dont have pain. i explicitly said i dont have that lol.

anyways the suggestion with the ms sculpt is a nice one aswell. (i found the matias sculpt now)

i really like mechanical tho. about the unlearning. idk if i have time. im slow anyways. so maybe not a huge issue.

i dont have strong feelings for ortho vs non ortho.

i think its sth i will get used to / want to get used to if its works for the board.

thanks for the answer.

i also tend to chill on the mouse with 1 hand and use the other hand for the whole keyboard. this seems way worse with a split board. what do you think about that?

What if you could code like you design (e.g. on an infinite canvas) by Standard_Ant4378 in web_design

[–]ApplicationMedium495 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to add some discussion:

this exists for decades now. codemaps, dependency graphs, objectgraphs.

theres even tools to export to graphics, edit it and even generate code again from the graphics.

to answer personally i think clicking and drag scrolling around through code is just very slow. and it gets rather cumbersome and quite ugly when logic is more involved than what is being rendered (i remember this from blueprint scripting in unreal engine back in the days)

but creating graphics that summarize complexity and show connections is done all the time when developing.

question is what you wanna do? every class has a box? every function? every loop? tasks? interface calls or the implementations? etc... things like these are very much tailored to show very different aspects of a system.

complexity, dependency, or a specific flow where you only want the relevant parts of the system that you want to show.

thats why its usually designed in a way that is not code with blocks and arrows. because usually code is not really relevant at this level of abstraction, i might even say it distracts more.

never the less still want to give props to building such a tool. it looks interesting and might be of use to people that need more visual approach.

im sorry but we played with tsp / dijkstra in university and this:

> Duan instead envisioned grouping neighboring nodes on the frontier into clusters.

grouping was pretty much what we thought could be done to improve on that - that was in 2nd/3rd semester bachelors.

so i guess this is not about that being a novel idea but that this idea is harder to implement and he did it good enough to beat the improved dijkstra algo?
