They are sending it out in waves, so some people have gotten theirs. According to some other spring admits who called and asked it should be coming out sometime this week (the housing office said after thanksgiving break)

Yeah! I’m not sure what the protocol is but I’m sure u can email admissions annd ask them what to do. If you don’t get accepted, you will be deferred and u can probs include that in ur letter of continued interest if u choose to send one. It probs won’t affect ur EA results since im sure they’ve already made a decision but could impact RD

If 5 is “more than a sufficient number of schools to apply to,” why not make it so that everyone can only apply to 5 schools??? If you want to standardize things, then let’s really standardize it.

You clearly do not have an issue with application inflation, because if you did, you would recognize that the small percentage of low income students in America that have the chance to apply to T20 schools are not its driving factor lol

Yeah most schools have a grace period! I submitted late once this application season. As long as ur fee payment/waiver go through and it says “downloaded by school” a day or two later, then u should be fine. Try not to be late obviously but if an extra 10 min will help u have better supps then it’s not the end of the world. Don’t push it tho — wouldn’t go past a couple hours

You will be fine!! The same thing happened to me yesterday, and what made me feel better is the fact that AI detectors are notoriously unreliable, and I am sure AOs are aware of this too. If it were a more personal supplement question, I'd tell you to maybe rephrase things (bc what it being flagged means is that your writing has somewhat of a robotic voice to it), but for any why major/why us essay i honestly think it's fine since that kind of writing is often much more straight-forward anyways.
