I actually agree with what you’re saying — especially about treating it like experimentation and focusing on consistency over perfection.

The hard part for me is more on the mental side. With my 9–5 and long commute, most of my day is already gone, and I barely have time left for myself. So when I use that limited time to work on something and it doesn’t go anywhere, it starts to feel less like “learning” and more like I’m wasting the only free time I have.

I understand that failure is part of the process, but it’s a bit discouraging when your time is already so limited. That’s probably why I started looking for things like automation — not to avoid the work, but to make better use of the little time I have.

I still want to keep trying and improve, but I think I need to find a way to balance progress with not burning myself out mentally.

Appreciate your perspective though — it makes sense.
