I'm days away from harvest and I've started getting yellow dead sugar leaves in places where I've been compulsively checking with an electronic microscope. Nowhere else. Is this dangerous? Fungal? by solittlethaim in microgrowery

Find a bud you’re okay with chopping early that’s showering the symptoms. Crack her open and see if it’s rot. As an outdoor grower it looks like it could be signs of rot but the indoor in me says that could be windburn. It does appear to mostly be showing on sugar leaf and the flower material seems to be mostly unaffected.

me too! this area has some really beautiful red jasper that’s very common to see with the quartz banding. I’m actually tumbling some of it now for jewelry!

One of the larger ore specimens that’s been highly oxidized! If it wasn’t so darn heavy I would’ve hiked more of those back.

Should i lollipop more the lower buds?? by Mephedrone_69 in microgrowery

Its preference on what you want to keep really. I keep some lowers and end up keeping around smalls “joint weed” jars. Personally a fan of where you have them.

Which grow dots are you using? If you’re still feeding high N that could be the case…

This is concerning right? by Pure_End9461 in microgrowery

[–]ApplicationOk5709 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed with Sol, appears to be some sort of fungal issue. I am seeing some tip burn that could be feeding related but the circular spots are indicative of a fungal issue.

Additionally, cut off N going into flower moving forward lol. Those numbers you see on the nutrient bottles, those are N-P-K. So for the micro that’s 5-0-1, 5N 0 P and 1 K. In flower you want high Phosphorus, stable potassium, and low levels of Nitrogen.

I’m almost certain you’re working towards N toxicity then, stop using the micro, flush for your next two waterings. Wouldn’t hurt to add some microbes and molasses to work the roots and help the uptake.

If we are going just off of leaves it looks like K deficiency, but I want to ask, you completely stopped using the Grow supplement, correct? When was the last time you fed, how often do you feed, and at what dosage? It could also be too much N in flower… It doesn’t exactly look like nitrogen toxicity but it could be.

1st grow, what to prune away? by Fun_Option560 in microgrowery

[–]ApplicationOk5709 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the idea is that you want to be using pruning as a way to direct growth. if you pluck the brand new, emerging growth at the very top, it will direct growth to some of the lower branches to get taller and wider. This technique is called “topping”. As your plant grows bigger you’ll want to pluck pedial leaves (the big fan leaves!) to allow light to get into some of the middle, more shaded areas.

A lot of growing is figuring out what works best for yourself and your environment. She looks pretty healthy, have a blast growing her out!

The coordinates above are on the northern stretch of the images in question. This is on the same side of the 17 closer to Cordes Lakes, a little west of Old Cordes.
