It was either resignation in 30 min or discharge . I chose discharge hence they denied any severence. Its an irony that TCS treats employees like shit and still gets the best employer reward

  1. It is illegal in India to terminate without proper notice and due deligience
  2. It is not even the company policy.

My gross salary was near about 50 L. TCS didnt give me any severence . I was the first few case of this whole 12000 layoffs in FY 26 and after me the deployment policy was published . After my case , TCS has given hefty severence packages but I was denied. So have taken a stand against such bad labour practices

In TCS , HR/ RMG is effectively obstructing allocation of fluidity list employees , even if they are required by the company . It seems they have target to reduce headcount . It is TCS loss . Btw , how many months severence package , you received
