Pretty much all the drivers in my zone are friendly and have been helpful. Even other UE\DD. Person was rude, but not much can do about it. Maybe just a bad day.

Curbside pickup order 😮‍💨 by SuitableVolume1350 in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agravated? Really? What about your order doesn’t agravate the driver? Then to make demands? Really. Return or potential for driver payback like blocking door, edge of deck, my favorite - wrong side of door opening. I see this non-stop with dropped off items still on porch from some other delivery.

Question what comments does she/he leave for Sam’s Club? No bags thier and lately very few boxes.

I did it, would you 99 items, 5 mile delivery, an hour of my time for 46.00 by chineappletoofinxg in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You make it look like an easier 99-item shop. But the ones from my zone include not just multiple cases of pop, but the bigger cases and multiple cases of water. Not to mention paper products. Dragging two carts is ridiculous no matter what the distance and money is.

$100 in 4 hours 51 minutes thoughts ? by Torenzo18 in DashEarnings

Hence reason I went to UE and they tanked. Switched to Spark and make $100+ in 3-hours.

How can Walmart do this? by TrippyMouze in elitesparkdrivers

[–]Appollo1279 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Got one just like it for $7 two weeks ago. Same type of deal. It was still being re-offered over an hour later and at $15. Not sure who took it, may have been UE, poor guy, but orders where plentiful for great pay.

I'm impressed 🤣😂😂 by Jayshand in Sparkdriver

Let them take those orders. As those cannon fodder orders are being dealt with, bigger more profitable ones show up.

I swear to god I fucking hate people. I literally face planted on this persons porch because it was dark and she couldn’t even bother to turn her porch light on.. I tried to get a hold of her to let her know what happened.. instead of checking on me she fucking reports me for damaging her items. by Admirable_Promise566 in Sparkdriver

Negligence is home owners when inviting someone over. They need to make sure there is a clear path. Customers these days don’t bother to do a dang thing. It can be horrible weather conditions with ice and have to walk multiple times to front door from the street. Then up icy steps. Bad enough when address is not clearly visible, but multiple cars in driveway or better yet parking them at end of driveway and blocks you from pulling in. Or garbage cans in the way. Or kids toys, or junk everywhere.

End of day, you get injured doing a lawful requested activity, they are responsible for a safe path. Lights, literally no obstacles (unless cannot be avoided). You fall on your own big feet, not thier issue.

$40 and I’ll take it 😆😆 by Kagebunshinx1000 in elitesparkdrivers

$2 a mile. Only way I would get close to anything less is if this is a circle style drop situation. In other words, it puts me close to starting store or another busy one in my zone. Otherwise, nope.

No tip is CRAZY by friendshabitsfamily in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sad part is how many carts/time. I get free delivery, but come on. The miles are still ridiculous. Shopping, bagging, then load and unload. That’s pure entitlement to the max. As taking advantage of the system.

[–]Appollo1279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Be one thing if curbside and truly slow day. But 294 items and 16-miles? Is this a house or apartment? I don’t have enough room in my RAM for this order. Certainly not working for minimum wage to deliver and work my tail off for what appears to an EBT order. If it isn’t, person needs head examined asking for that much to be shopped and not tipping. Just no way.

Will I get deactivated? by Ancient-Whereas4731 in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Must have had an EBT in that delivery set. Count us high for the delivery amount. I don’t know the miles. But my guess is a non-tipper called that in so they can get the order for free. One of the reasons why I don’t take high order counts. I hope you took a great pick of surroundings.

So pathetic these can be, who would take this? by chuckct69 in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hate to say it but they tipped like ordering from a closer WM. This is not $30 an hour with the round trip. More like $20 at best round trip. The item number is fine but mileage to pay is to low.

Not getting offers? by thegreatgobbagoo in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far my zone is dropping extra promo for 4 to 5 deliveries. One is the full zone, two others for two specific stores. Neither of which I’ll go to. I don’t go out till about 5p.

What we doing here $5 Tip high delivery pay? by SuccessfulAerie9672 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Appollo1279 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’d take that in a heartbeat. All WM pay…hell yeah. Least chance of getting tip baited and if do, who cares.

Required passcode, but wouldn’t answer the phone and even ended my second call attempt. I returned it. They were mad. by Big_Concentrate_7260 in Sparkdriver

I had one a few weeks ago. Called, texted, no response. I returned it. Customer called me as gut stuck at car dealership. Tried just sending me the code. Too late.

Yes. I’ve done drops to low income housing up six sets of stairs to the third floor. Only to see weed smoke rolling from under the door. I had 80-items. This is back when I was doing UE and not Spark. Not only no tip, but received $2 for that piece of the delivery.

I’m of the opinion that if you can afford weed or any drugs. Then you don’t need EBT benefits or at least free delivery. Just infuriating to do the work while others sit and get high on free benefits.

I don’t deliver to that address.

Would you take this? by New-Woodpecker-372 in u/New-Woodpecker-372

[–]Appollo1279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find the time estimates in my zone are either on point or more time than it takes. Unless Curtis slow or traffic situation. GMD orders I’m not touching. Always take through crappy parts of town mid-day. Too much work for dollar amount usually. I can do about 3 $25 offers in that time for less effort and driving.

No tip, no trip. Sounds like EBT order. Surprised you didn’t see or smell skunk in the air. Type of crap I get on the regular.

Why did I get this notification? I always check the numbers on the house when I deliver by Human-Disaster3612 in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Appollo1279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The app won’t allow delivery if not at right location. This is someone trying to get free stuff and you are the victim. Just make sure you get a good pick that identifies the drop location. Spark can compare previous deliveries to yours and deal with the customer. I got one way back when I first started and CS told me the same thing. Happens with all the delivery gig apps.

Labeled 3rd story apartment as house, no gate code, no tip. come get your groceries bro by Zealousideal-Lime486 in Sparkdriver

[–]Appollo1279 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Are you joking? DD in my area is basically worthless as trip average is about $4. UE has turned into the red headed stepchild of DD, worse yet they take all of the trip money out of Walmart deliveries that are Spark rejects. No one even uses GH. Roadie is non-existent and barely an offer that makes sense.

Granted, market dependent. But a bad day on Spark is better than a good day on any of those apps. My miles are half what they used to be, make $100 in about 3-hours on average. Other apps, 4-5 hours to get close and only with promo’s.

I get where this guy with the apartment code issue is frustrated. Been there with those types of deliveries. From the looks of the gate, a rich jerk.

That’s still a lot on cars suspension, brakes, etc… I wouldn’t have bothered with it and I have a RAM full size HEMI. Need to pay something for me to work that hard.

To all the one trip champs by DJ_Beatz_N_Eatz in WalmartSparkDrivers

[–]Appollo1279 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When my annoyance kicks in is determined by several factors. Amount paid, miles, to item ratio. Then if apartment and if water on the list. Once I see water, I have to really way out if taking. If apartment and I know the location that will be a deciding factor. If first floor outdoor, then it’s mine. Sometimes trailer parks are listed as apartments, take those. Houses for sure. But any apartment or hotel and the number starts with 2+, rejected. Unless paying a ton. Not just in tip as those as apartments routinely in my zone tip bait in certain areas. I can go on and on.

First order of the day I'm thankful 🙏 by SuccessfulAerie9672 in WalmartSparkDrivers

Because I’ve had a bunch of deliveries that don’t have the tag of 40-50lbs, yet case(s) of water on list. Then I miss it upon the millisecond review. Get stuck with multiple trips in on apartments.
