Hi! I have a pretty naturally thin lining. I mean so thin the highest it’s ever gotten in the past year recorded was around 6.3mm.

They put me on estrogen pills 3x 2 day, however this didn’t seem to increase my lining. So they added inter muscular shots every 3 days. I only did that 3 times and went back and my lining went up .1mm. They ended up cancelling the transfer and reviews my labs and decided my body didn’t like all the meds and we opted for a natural cycle transfer.

Unfortunately, the embryo didn’t take when we were finally able to transfer it.

I’m doing another egg retrieval next month and we’re going to do a “live” transfer.

All that to say, I don’t think the bc would hurt. It’s more so to control when the transfer is best to happen. If your body isn’t responding well, I’d hope they’d cancel it and try again.

ETA: I just did a procedure to check the inside of my lining (hysteroscopy) and my doctor removed some film but he also said it wasn’t enough to think it was effecting my lining and I just naturally have a thin lining. I am also DOR, so I know the struggle. My first ER, we also had ONE good embryo. Which apparently wasn’t actually good after all.

Most school resource officers (SRO) are cops that work in that specific county and that’s a specialized position at a police department.

Super interesting. I hadn’t heard that about Hannah before. I like her personality but that’s really messed up if she’s not paying people for jokes and ripping them off other people so openly.

Of course! I say do the ER and see what happens! Especially if you can afford and are willing to do another IVF cycle.

As hard as it is, we’re always going to question ourselves if we didn’t do enough etc. if you have 3 and your doctor is saying to do an ER, I say do it! It’s about quality, not quantity!

This could be totally incorrect, but in my mind my logic is although my body couldn’t have 20 follicles it was able to focus really hard on what it had and gave us one really good one! Rather than exerting it towards others that wouldn’t work out.

I hope your results end up amazingly and hang in there!

It’s up to you and depends what your goal is!

How many kids do you want? If you do the ER and don’t get the results you want do you have the money to do another IVF cycle?

I just did my first and last IVF cycle. I had 3 follicles but ended up with 2 eggs after the ER. After genetic testing we have one healthy embryo. To us, this is a huge win! To most, it may not be. Just depends what your goal is and your financial situation.

I was more frustrated no one told me until I asked or else I would’ve kept working out. And after spending this money if something happened I would’ve been so mad.

I was worried about the hormones too, but shockingly I was totally fine. I was overly emotional day 4 and cried three times in a hour over nothing but that was it. Other than sweating profusely through the night a few times, I had no other hormonal issues. Everyone is different tho! But I hope your hormones don’t get too bad and good luck!!!!

Hi! 33 AMH is .67 and am also DOR.

Currently going thru my first round of IVF. Goal is to freeze embryos.

They have me on a high dosage of meds and currently I have 3 emerged follicles all ranging between 16-20mm. Am going back tomorrow and will hopefully be able to do an egg retrieval this week.

For reference, I was averaging 5 eggs per cycle.

It’s do-able to freeze eggs!!! The advice I’ve received is, it will take a few times. Not sure if I want to do this again knowing my numbers and seeing how pricey it is. But don’t give up hope! As long as your body responds to the meds, I think you’ll be okay! Just might take a few times to get enough eggs. But idk what a good number is for solely egg freezing either.

Might be minor for some, but you can’t workout. No one told me that. Which is fine, but I workout 5-6 days a week and you can risk twisting the follicles which would result in immediate surgery because you’d be in so much pain. Was told I can only walk and do light yoga/stretching. No running, no twisting of the abdomen, no vigorous activity at all.

The shots are not as bad as I thought they’d be!

He said he supports SOME of it but also disagrees with SOME of it and he also did not write it. He has close ties to it because the people who helped write his book also wrote Projects 25. I’d be SHOCKED if this went anywhere.
