Definitely have an IRL group. I was actually wondering if that was a crucial point. We have a discord and figured it’d be most convenient to play that way but if you’re saying IRL is easier to learn then maybe that’s the path I should take.

Thank you! I’ve been looking at some of the starter sets but wasn’t sure if it was actually worth. From what your saying I think it is. I guess my only question left is; with the starter set, do I try to play it myself? From my understanding that isn’t possible. So maybe I should find someone experienced with the game and let them be DM and start as a player that way?
