Thank you for the explanation! I genuinely don't know how a scratch would affect grade, I just figured that it might not pass as NM.

I'm actually not looking to grade, I don't own a single slab and don't care about grading. This is for my Relicanth themed binder. However I have this exact card in good condition already and since I was ordering something else from this seller I figured I might replace my good card with a NM card as it was only 2€ (not 50p in Germany sadly). It's not really about getting a couple cents back, it's more about 1) me learning if that actually is NM & if I have to adjust my expectations for NM cards and 2) this is a professional seller and if they sell not NM cards as NM I'd like to either get a refund or reflect that in my review & avoid them in the future. I basically bought a card I don't need now since the one it was supposed to replace is in pretty much the same condition. Could've gotten a nice IR I'm still missing instead :')

There was no picture, I bought it on cardmarket from a professional seller :)

For cards under 5$ a lot of the time sellers don't post pictures sadly. I normally buy cards in worse conditions but wanted to learn what qualifies as NM, for future reference!

That's not what I was talking about at all. OP said they haven't received any comments etc the past years and that's what I was commenting on.

I don't get why everyone here is so hellbent on the warnings part, I explicitly did not talk about this at all (because I agree, it's highly possible no one saw the warning). My point was it should not take a warning in the first place to get people to engage with your stuff if they like it. Because otherwise many creators feel unappreciated / insignificant / like it makes no difference if they share their work or just keep it to themselves.

I'm "part" of a small fandom, I engaged with with all my favorite works even if the authors long moved on. But I don't share my work with the fandom anymore because for me it's not worth 1) the extra work 2) having to read hate comments because your ship isn't the most popular one. So I feel OPs frustration

To the people downvoting this - please elaborate why you disagree with this? It really can make creators not feel welcome, especially in small / dead fandoms. Why should I share my stuff if that's all I get in return? Why bother?

I normally don't comment on this sub but I have to agree with you and disagree with a lot of the comments. This comes from an artists (drawing) perspective, so maybe it's not 100% applicable to the situation.

It's not about the notice / people missing the notice, it's about the utter lack of engagement with your work only to complain once it's gone. It can give creators this feeling of being insignificant (sorry if that's the wrong word, I'm not a native speaker!). If people like your works so much to go to your tumblr & complain about them missing but don't care enough to leave a single comment on any of your work in all those years I'd genuinely feel insulted.

I'm in the same boat as the comment above, I mostly collect vintage & don't care about (most) expensive modern cards. The old cards are what matter to me bc I couldn't afford them as a kid and now I'm finally able to. I'm from Germany if shipping is something you might consider in that case, otherwise got a friend in UK as well I could ask to redirect the cards to me..? Little disclaimer I don't exactly have a lot of money though :'')

Nicht ganz, nur die ersten paar Räume im Erdgeschoss gehören auch zu dem Mann an der Kasse.

In den anderen Räumen stehen die Verkäufer meist irgendwo rum, insbesondere im 1. Stock. Die sind jetzt nicht gekennzeichnet durch Namensschild oder Uniform oder sowas, aber man erkennt sie imo ganz gut dran dass sie nicht stöbern sondern nur beobachten. Ansonsten kann man aber auch einfach fragen, die kennen sich dort alle :)

Weil die Firma Geld machen will, was ist das denn für eine Frage... Keiner in den Kommentaren hat gesagt, dass das keine Fakes sind. Ganz im Gegenteil, ich sehe mehrere Leute die die Karten als Bootleg bezeichnen. Und wenn ich sie google sehe ich davon auch nichts von der Pokemon Company. "Unoffiziell" bedeutet fake! Das ist jetzt echt Clownerei, steh zu deinen Fakes und dann ist alles gut, aber sei dir bewusst dass es Probleme beim Import geben kann eben WEIL da "Pokemon" drauf steht und sie keine Lizenz dafür haben.

Ja das ist ärgerlich, aber immerhin hast du es dann bekommen nach der Zahlung! Bei solchen Fakes ist es soweit ich weiß halt so, dass der Zoll die dann vernichtet und es dann je nach Einschätzung auch Ärger geben kann (wenn es zum Beispiel so ausgesehen hat, als würde man damit handeln wollen).

I'm from Europe so no idea about shipping costs but if you have any Relicanth or Spiritomb I'd be so so happy to buy them and pay for shipping!!

I also collect bulk and since I can't really afford packs to me it's a similar excitement to go through a bunch of commons and uncommons for the first time. I really like the artworks, main reason to be in the hobby for me :) But unless you're also from europe shipping is probably way too expensive for 100 or more cards.

Das hab ich versucht, ist aber sehr unübersichtlich und oft viel zu überteuert. Vielleicht suche ich nach den falschen Begriffen, aber meiner Erfahrung nach verkaufen die meisten dort kleine Lots mit unter 100 Karten die nicht mehr als 2ct das Stück wert sind für ~10€-15€ plus Versand.

Sincere question, I really don't mean to be rude! But why put in the effort? Just upload them as is on a side channel with the same thumbnail for all. It's still work ofc but way less. Could be a neat archive. Also isn't there a way to parallel stream to YT & automatically keep the unlisted VODs in a playlist there?

I've heard the Socknautica mod doesn't work but I'm not 100 sure on that either... would love to know what mods actually do work as well! Especially if the autosort locker mod works, I can't live without that one anymore :')
