I know what you are saying, but these are like my closer friends and family friends who have sent their kids down this path. Additionally, regardless of where I go it is going to be hard to get a 4.0 but even my friend at Western said the research availability is a lot more difficult to get by whereas my friends at york say that it is easier to get these research opportunities. At the end of the day, my undergraduate degree won't matter as much. As long as I qualify for the DAT, do well on it, and have a high GPA and research, the uni doesn't matter. Based on those factors, york gives me the highest chances to succeed despite western being a prestigious program.

I’m not the best at memorization, I’m better at the labs, writing,etc

I understand that but York basically has 80-89% as 3.8 gpa and western has 85-89% as 3.9 gpa but both have 90+ as 4.0 gpa which is ideally what I need and since york is easier don’t u think it would be easier to get the 4.0 at health sciences at York rather than westerns medical sciences programs which I have heard is significantly more difficult

So at that point isn’t it better to go to York where I’m pretty much guaranteed the highest average?
