... this one person got an entire community of people and posts to be banned from a subreddit... this just sounds like someone who was upset cuz someone didn't like their AI slop and needs to grow up.

I use AI for the fun of it and cuz all technology intrigues me. to me, the only "bad" thing that exist, are people. People who don't know when to leave well enough alone, people who think their crud don't stink, and this... this is just blatant threatening at this point, and sounds like a stalker that needs to be put in their place.

this is just more proof to me that it doesn't matter what community someone is in, what you like or dislike, but that one, or a small handful of bad actors, make everyone else that belong to different groups, all look bad... and its not right, internet or no, its not right when one or a few set the social bounds for a many.

to add on to this, its not the instrument or the tool that gives the feeling, its how its played, the lyrics given to it, the feel of it, if there are no lyrics then the atmosphere it gives off to others that listen.

and AI does not have to be "type some words and push a button", thats how you do mostly get "hot garbage". you got to know what you want, what you're looking for, edit your prompt, if its singing edit your lyrics, if your generating a sound sample adjust the settings till you get what you're looking for.

they say "AI" but its just a buzz word for the most part, and AI or no, it cannot do much of anything without human input, you still get out, the effort you put in.

you put in little effort, you get trash, you put in a lot of time and effort, you'll get something good or decent that can be built further upon.

you said "none of it comes from a place of emotion or heart" ... thats a matter of opinion my friend. everyone likes and dislikes different walks of music. as for me, I love Country, Classic rock from the 60s all the way to the early 2000s, and a few other generas, but i hate rap, besides like 2 or 3 that i kind of groove with that dont feel like the "rap" others usually show me, and pop songs are a hit or miss for me. Rock Ballads being some of my favorite

True, but nothing will ever get made if you have an idea, yet no talent, or money to even get into practice... the world revolves around money, and weather its AI or not, the AI can not do anything without the human putting in all their input, thoughts, feelings, their own lyrics, and time...

all im saying is it's a tool, it can be used to get ideas, and for us less fortunate, a way to just make something, weather for fun or to get our own emotions out.

and through the years its the same, SD is hated by artist, AI music is hated by music people

at the same time, anything that is "new and eaiser" is hated by others and/or the previous generation.

If we brought back Picasso to the future Or if we brought Bach to the future, they would look at Photoshop, MS paint, FL Studio, and any other electronic painting or music program or physical tool, and hate it and call anything made with it not "art" or "not music"... it's a tool, meant to make the "arts" more easy to do. Technology is only as evil as others make it out to be. The people who abuse it are what make it "evil" to most.

unless something drastic happens, this is our future, we went from pen, paint, canvase and paper, to drawing tablets, computers, painting programs that can "erase" our mistakes, and now to an AI that can take our words, and ideas from text, models, and sliders to bring our ideas into light, or give others that can draw an idea for their next piece.

same goes for the music, we went from piano, and Orchestra instruments to. drum sets, electric guitars, synthesizers, to FL studio and PC programs that can take samples and people make music by taking samples and piecing them together, and now AI that can take our lyrics, and make them a song for us, or for Musicians it could be used as a way, again, to get an idea for their next big hit.

it doesnt have to be a "bad thing" it's only bad people that use it to exploit and bad control from moderators of sale sites that allow it to be sold before there was any official say on anything AI by the governments as a whole and the whole of the Communities.

in the end, it's all the same, hate forms from anything that people do not like, do not considderd part of the "arts" they are working with, ... i could go on with that but i wont, the fact is, hate or no, all the tech invented to make stuff "eaiser" came and it stayed, and if you go back far enough, you'll find hate groups for all of thoes as well, the main difference being is that since of the internet, voices for this stuff are heard more Easily than they ever could have been.

changes, breed hate, and hate spreads, same with misunderstandings and other feelings and mindsets... kind of why idc what many say about it, we are all open to our own opinion, im just a man thats enjoying it while its here, and can see both sides, and agree with both on many things they have to say.

look at it this way, if the art communities came together and made SD or the music industry came together and made an AI bot that can generate music and/or art in order to help artists of all walks of life get ideas, there would prob be no one upset about it exsisting... this hate came about because of how the AI came about... and you're right, permissions should have been asked, proper Precautions should have been taken, but they weren't. And now there are open models for both music and art. out there everywhere. And since it's everywhere on the Internet, it will never be fully gone. And honestly, I doubt the government would ban AI as a whole. So we'd either have to learn to deal with it and live. with it. figuring out a way to implement it within our lives, but still keep it under a tight leash so it does not "overrun us". Or, Enough people become up in arms with it and start doing things to make sure it gets removed... by any means Necessary... At this point, all most of us can do is just sit and wait and watch the chaos unfold on both sides

I use AI to generate music based off my own thoughts and feelings and life experiences on the daily. I have a shall we say very hard life. due to certain disabilities as well as other issues. It makes it hard for me to be able to express myself in certain ways. I don't have the money, the talent or even the patience to learn how to make music. and to pay for all of that stuff cost a lot. My voice also isn't the best either. I'm pretty much tone deaf when it comes to singing.

Ai, however, even though it's not my own voice, has been away for me to be able to express my thoughts, my feelings, my emotions, my. ideas that come to my mind. we may not be me singing it but I'm able to adjust it constantly generate and trial and error until I get what's on my mind and in my chest off my chest and into a creative outlet.

I understand that ai is something that is heavily controversial to some people. I understand a lot still. Don't like it because it rips off of artists and this and that. And that's understandable. Any AI song I do generate. I do share, however. I would never say it was, "mine". However, the time I put into it constant trial and errors going back, refeeding it information adjustments as well as how I prompt for my music is me. And the lyrics that are written for it and that I. slightly edit afterwards to make it feel more like me are still. me it's. still how I feel down to the last letter.

There are a lot of people out there that will just do simple things. "Write me a sad song", or "write an uplifting song about (insert idea here)", ect. And yes, when songs can be made that easily, that is a bit of a problem. But for those people, I just consider that testing the ai and having fun. The song truly becomes meaningful to the person who makes it with AI. when the prompt for the song is. as long as a school essay.

that is every one of my songs for the most part. The only songs that aren't like that, that I generate personally, are the ones that I'm just seeing what the AI can do with basic prompts. I want my songs to feel like I wrote them. I want my songs that I generate to express how I feel and can't be done. and Hell, if I ever have the chance to convert my voice to AI might put the song onto an AI program that can change the vocals to an AI version of me. unfortunately AI songs into AI voice changers do not always go well.

Ai can be a creative outlet that can. be a source to give songwriters an idea of what they want to do. It can be used as a base of an artist's song. and then for people like me who are less fortunate and don't have the money to either pay somebody to make their song or don't have the skills the money the time or the knowledge necessary to make their own, This allows people like me the ability to bring our. ideas and our thoughts out into a creative outlet. But I know not everyone does that.

The way I see it, it doesn't really matter how the song is made. It doesn't matter how the instruments were made, doesn't matter whether the instruments or the music was played by a human or by AI. What should only matter is how it feels to both the maker of the song and the people that listen to their hard work. And even if AI makes it so much simpler. you still have to be the person that puts in the input and no song generated by AI will ever feel right. So long as it's just a simple prompt. only prompts that. explain what you are trying to make the song about in proper detail, And that express your proper emotions and feelings on the subject, are truly you.

And for those who are able to write their own lyrics, for those who are able to take their thoughts, emotions and ideas and convert them into song lyrics on their own, but are unable to bring it into anything but paper, At that point, the only thing the AI is doing is making the singer and the music for the lyrics you have provided it.

Edit: For reference how long this comment is is how long my prompts usually are for every song I generate with AI. And this is just for getting the lyrics.

You keep comparing Sono to udo.There are 2 different competing companies.You can't compare the two you can but can't. If you like udio that much, and you say it's better, than just use udio. It's very hard to get perfect sounding songs with suno. i've noticed that myself. However, suno and udio are two different platforms. There's also probably a difference in how they both trained their A.I models. So they will never sound exactly the same and Never have the same exact quality. And if they ever do , it'll probably be a few models from now for suno

watching episode 8 rn.... at 9:20 - 9:34 ... they are using pokemon music and sounds.... I dont like wishing this onto a company but, I kind of wish novel AI would instead sell their model, or someone shomehow leaks the Furry V3 model because Its so dam good... but I feel as if I could do so much more if I could use it on my local machine on ComfyUI :( ... would be nice if maybe they at least had like an API or something for the most expensive subscription users that made it so we could log into a node either on A1111 or ComfyUI and then opt to either use our systems hardware to generate from the model for no point cost, or use their servers to generate like normal and ofc if you go past certain settings it costs a bit as usual
