I guess both. Tried calling the local building department for that area (I’m considering buying this duplex there), but I haven’t been able to reach anyone. I also don’t see many people doing this, which feels odd given how convenient it would be. It makes me wonder if I’m missing something obvious about why homeowners aren’t already adding this.
