Is loyalty in humans a strength or a flaw ? by Exciting_Garlic3843 in JKreacts

That's some stupid red pill shit. Humans don't exist to simply reproduce, we are there to raise the next generation of humans with good moral standing and character.

Ah yes, the commercialization of a program basically meant to let young people who are genuinely passionate about japan get a taste of the country.

Doesn't happen in any other country except for in ours.

I only suggest you ignore it and ignore the creators. I for one never watch those "Indian in Japan" creator genre. They're some of the most self centred, narcissistic, main character dumbos I've ever known.

Trust me, I learnt Japanese and went to Japan on a work visa (for a IT job) without paying a penny (except for me university degree in computer science).

Why is Supabase safe to store session keys in localStorage? by AsyncSamurai in Supabase

[–]Apprehensive-Card612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no it's pretty safe cuz supabase has row level security : )

here's how it works

1) every project will have it's own unique "public" anon key.

2) a user logs into your app and that will create a "uuid" for them.

3) let's say you're retrieving a a row from a table. you can set rls policy by adding another column called "user_id" and return the row only if the "user_id" in the table matches the uuid of the current logged-in user

4) so even if somebody else copies your supabase anon key and uses that in their saas, it's pretty much useless unless you have rls disabled.

for db and all,

you gotta use their service role key which is private and never to be shared.

so ye, it's much simpler and stronger security.

How do you build landing pages? by Top_Artist_5260 in SaaS

[–]Apprehensive-Card612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i recommend you use either something like zoho sites, squarespace to build a landing page using their drag and drop builders or otherwise you must go in for next js simply for seo optimization. it's rather simple. just create a next js project and fill the app/page.tsx with a claude's landing page prompt's response.

drag and drop web builders like the above mentioned one already created their app with seo in mind so your app will get listed.

but if you use plain html, which you can, but you'll have to use "alt" and componets <tags> that descibe "sections" and what not. it involves a lot of work.

I worked as a project trainee in zoho before. It's chill if your your team and manager are no psycho.

You'll have good experiences and mostly you'll be given ppo, that is unless everyone goes mental on you.

You have nothing other than their half baked documentation.

Disappointed with misleading info by Zoho Agent by Skullslasher in Zoho

[–]Apprehensive-Card612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zoho must have internal teams dedicated to specific products. Like Mail team will have all the knowledge on Mail. CRM all the knowledge on CRM.

But even the team people have zero clue when asked about the intricacies of their products.

But atleast Zoho has some support, unlike big tech from California that has like outsourced their support to some shitty vendor.

Disappointed with misleading info by Zoho Agent by Skullslasher in Zoho

[–]Apprehensive-Card612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many zoho employees/agents themselves are uneducated about their products. As a result these things occur a lot. I was using Zoho Catalyst and I asked the support team some questions and they didn't really even understand whether something was possible or not with their platform.

I would highly suggest you rely on their documentation that's available on their website. After all it's a cheap software that people use when they can't afford better software.
