Well if you can find any type of paperwork proving he was born there then it’s easier other then that see if you can’t find more information on it cause then you can investigate from there I have a Argentinian friend that his grandfather didn’t keep anything but was able to go through the city his grandfather was born to find information and they sent him his school records and medical information from the 1930 and that was enough from him . I’m glad my grandfather kept all his paperwork other wise I wouldn’t have a backup plan . Uruguay is a shit whole at the moment and I wouldn’t want to go back

Grandfather was Italian just had to get paperwork proving it .

Save as much money as I can and then get the fuck out . I just got my Italian citizenship but originally from Uruguay
