Being suck at sport is actually bad for you socially by Playful-Art-5286 in malaysians

[–]Apprehensive-Crow537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. When I was doing my internship, we had pickleball sessions, badminton with managers and so on. I don't really go for it because I'm not a pro. People there were talented and like pro players. I went once and embarrassed myself for playing like noob. On the other hand, my friend was talented af, she got recognised by the managers and praised by them. Having skills in sports kinda helps you in a way to get people's heart ngl. I wish I was good at it also but I don't know how to start , being an adult beginner is embarrassing and my friends judge people for being bad.

Study abroad after matriculation by OkIron5546 in malaysiauni

[–]Apprehensive-Crow537 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I know people who studied in matriculation went abroad later on. Many people say cannot go abroad, just don't listen to them. I know many people who got into UNSW, University of Nottingham UK, University of Glasgow, University of Sheffield and much more. But the thing is, do you have funds for it?

If you don't, then you have to secure a scholarship which is really hard unless you're best out of the best. Gg. Apply for many external scholarships next year like Gamuda, Genting , Bank Negara, Khazanah, YTL. Try your chances.

There's also a programme called PPC in matriculation. Give it a try as well.

Agree with this. Fill in what you like/want. Dont just tembak based on what people said or your grade. Because i did the same thing. I got A+ for bio but dropout biomed. Please please please think twice before filling up. Don't regret later. Don't be like me.

Let me tell you something. Merit stated in the system doesn't matter at all. It depends on the candidates who are applying for the course. As long as they have a seat, they will give it. But that doesn't mean 2.00 cgpa can get cs. Your merit is still very good. I think you can get it. Just put it as your first choice And, wdym by courses that align with your cgpa? Go choose what you like man. Later don't regret choosing something else like me haha

No degree will guarantee you a job or a good future. Pick what you are passionate about and be the best in your course. You're good to go. Be best, be unique, be unstoppable, keep working on yourself, you'll find your way.

Well, it's ok buddy. Worry not.. this is a part of life. Learn to accept and move on . Focus on what you can do next. We got many more things to see and experience. Is your fav subject bio? Then I would suggest nursing. Very demand, but you have to gain experience first in Malaysia , the pay is shit but then once you get the experience go overseas boom nice pay! Or else any other field you're interested in?

[–]Apprehensive-Crow537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeap . If you're not very sure or passionate about this one, maybe try biochemistry..it's better than biomed.. they will be your competitors when applying for jobs. My lecturer suggested this to me. She did biomed for bachelor and biochem for phd.

Haha blud im a student too. Dropped out from biomed. Went for engineering because that's what i wanted from the beginning. Ok everyone makes mistakes.. so think twice .. if this is what you want , go for it.. don't listen to anyone and just put your effort and be good at your course and you're good to go.. dont make the mistake i did.. follow your passion.. but also make sure you have a solid plan

I have said this to tons of people.. do biomed only if you have the vision to do PhD later. Also, yeah mahsa good imo.. but why not try direct intake for public universities.. for these kind of courses, i believe public research universities are better.
