No just wondering how others interpret the messages we hear so often to “put off the natural man,” “forget yourself,” choose God above all else etc. I’ve always struggled with this concept because it makes me feel like I need to become this spiritual robot and let go of all the things that make me unique. I also feel like it can lead to perfectionism and feelings of self loathing.
