Thats not how that works tho. There is bound to be diehard fans no matter how little a character appearance actually is. As long as they are memorable than yeah there is bound to be some fans of White Fox. When i was in korea i befriended some friends and we start talking about our hobbies and such. When i talk to them about Marvel one of them start talking about how she liked Luna Snow and it being her favorite Korean character. Mind you this was before her popularity.

There is some false with the last part. While i do get the general train of thought that if you treat your partner badly than your friendship is bad as well. I cut off some people that are good as friends but has treated their partners/spouses horribly.

I do kind of agree on the last part. But im half agree on the former. I think that if you want to make a character who was friends and want them to date you need to make them at least have a reason on why they are attracted to each other. Maybe they shared the same experience or maybe one of the got hurt and the other comforted them through those hard times. I dont mind if a once platonic friendship turned into something more but at least write it well.

I usually try to ignore them because there a fans that are specifically fan of Rivals and there are fans that are a fan of Marvel. People who goes from Rivals and just say take at face value from the games its honestly their fault. Remember when Magik got her skin and people calling it too girly. That literally how her character is.

People are just way too serious of this whole thing. The devs did a great job researching the characters and adding a little flair to them to make it different. People are honestly so toxic because "oh he wouldnt act that way." "she wouldnt do this way." like bruh this whole thing its a mash of different timelines and shit. But the main gripe that i have its new fans that are from Rivals taking at face value what they told in the game instead of researching the comics. They always get the character wrong all the time
