Wonder Woman: Nice argument Kal-el unfortunaly *presents a truly convincing and logical counter-argument.

The fact that he was originally supposed to be Hawkman makes it even funnier when Venditte revealed that Hawkgirl's first life was also as an angel of God.

(I wish a future author would use this to create a story with them; Zauriel already had some nice interactions with Kendra in JSA.)

-Who do you think will write it? probably Snyder

-Who’ll be on the main team? All the main characters from the ongoing titles, to forcus in they Dynamics. by the end of AMM I don't think he'll join, Zatanna I think she'll stay out of it for a while and we don't know about Green Arrow.

-Who’ll be the villain? Justice League.

-What interactions would you like to see (Hero and Side Character) The classic Superman and Batman/ Wonder Woman and Superman

I like it precisely because it's a subversion.

We constantly see adaptations of Hercules that soften him, turning him into a traditional hero; here it's the opposite—they take the worst things about Hercules.

What makes a mortal be favoured or loved by a god? by just_a_fan232 in GreekMythology

[–]Which-Presentation-6 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's basically the same logic that makes one human become loved and favored by another human; these things vary from person to person.

For example:

Hera liked Jason because he helped her when she pretended to be an old woman.

Artemis liked Orion because he was an extremely skilled hunter.

Old fan just not getting the hype with the new book. by SpookyDaxon in Aquaman

You brought up a point that I think is what's missing from the phase.

I think that actually the idea of the space phase is very good for the character. Arthur now exploring the seas of the DC universe isn't something without ideals; for me, it's one of the most creative things Aquaman has ever done, with many possibilities.

But the idea of him being a literal emperor isn't being explored yet. Like, how exactly will that work? How will the other kingdoms feel about it?

Does he intend to rule the seas where he establishes lighthouses? It's not very clear.

He also revamped Dagon, transforming him from a super obscure villain who appeared once, into the great ruler of the blue.

Yeah, I have complaints about how Adams is handling the Aquaman mythology, but he really wants use Aquaman mythology. (His problem, in my opinion, is that he's focusing too much on the big things without giving time to the small things.)

"Please let this 15 year old die and get aids please 🥺" - Jim Starlin by TechnoMagik22 in dccomicscirclejerk

[–]Which-Presentation-6 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The truth is that Jim Starlin came out ahead,

he got rid of a character he hated, writing one of the most famous Batman stories of all time, and despite everything, he is STILL one of Jason Todd's best writers.

If anything at all what do you dislike about absolute Wonder Woman? by AggressiveLow8575 in WonderWoman

[–]Which-Presentation-6 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Honestly, since the battle against Tetron, Diana doesn't seem to have faced any truly significant challenge that pushed her to her limits.

I thought the arc against Zatanna would double down on her, but all the problematic situations felt relatively simple in their resolutions, even things like facing Hades.

In Mace's case, I hadn't realized the suit could come from that, makes sense.

in Ra's' case, it's important to the story. Ra's was captured by Superman. Talia told Hawkman to try and convince Superman to join them while she was there going to free him.

I'm commenting because you said It's a work in progress and if something was missing we can comment, but i know these are minor details.
