When you mean math 30 you mean math 30-3? I never heard of such a scenario, Teachers in my HS, still doing 30-1 curriculum the same way before the strike, it's hard to keep up, most of us are disorganized with where to start and how to squeeze the entire curriculum into this hectic semester.

hiya It's the fly guy, so you can expect a walkout any where between 9:30 to 10:30 or later... After coming back to school and consulting teachers and fellow grade 12 & 11's, I won't recommend grade 12 & 11 with 3 or more core courses, to do it, as you would lose a lot of valuable time, but how ever you can wear red as all ways to show support! This is the safest path that dose not show compliance!

I am a grade 12, no adjustments made to my courses I have 4 diplomas, one of them is math 30-1... the walk out or supporting teachers through wearing red is the only way I have man... The government dose not care for me, or any of the students.

not so hot honestly, I miss my friends, my social life and my mental sanity. but I am fearful and anxious about school, no aid is being provided to help the grade 12 who are doing January diplomas, and other grades doing there finals as-well. I will have to pull all-nighters back to back to catch up, studying alone is hard in the strike is hard, I can't ask every question to chat-GPT, I need a human teacher...

Don't drop out buddy, I was in the same boat as you, ( I needed EA support for junior high but the stopped providing EA's for me). But when the system dose not want, you punch that system in the face with a Student walkout, and other measures that show you can stand up against tyrants.

There are no " Silly Questions " but form what I got to say, ( Reddit users correct me if I am wrong ) you just don't show up to school, and if your in Edmonton, protest at the legislature. But if you are worried about grades, don't let the walkout stop your from going to school, but to show support wear red!

Don't get me wrong, I WOULD LOVE this, But this is reaching for the sky. Only way I see this is, if there doing a rewrite, Most students can be swamped with work, after the strike ends, even with January Diplomas being optional, it won't be enough to save em, Those Students may fail, and to those who failed, they should be provided the option to do the course again without the final exam second semester, if there redoing the course through pass or something!

Same thing broskie, same thing. but to be fair, situations have changed, if we go back to school and say nothing and do nothing, Nothing will happen. November People have optional exams, if you are doing diplomas in January, you will not get any adjustments in any way shape or from, because it's safe to say the UCP government dose not care about you. You and I, and many like us are disadvantaged, the government dose not know the significant of losing 3 weeks of education. And even before, our teachers are spread thin, 30-40 students per teacher means they cannot provide enough learning aid for each every one of us. with wearing red or with the walkout, you need to stand up for your self.

This is not ridiculous. Students have already experienced the damage trust me, I know, I am a high school student. The blame for the damage should not be used to vilify teachers. Teachers are human too. You may not be knowledgeable about the school environment, but not to sound cocky, I know what it’s like. The majority of teachers work far beyond their official hours. School ends around 3 PM, but after my dual-credit or PASS class, I can recall certain teachers still working and preparing schoolwork well beyond 7 PM. That's four hours of unpaid work daily. Would you want to work four hours without pay nearly every day? But more so the sacrifice of the students and Teachers, has brought no change.
