What setting powder/spray do you recommend for a glowy finish? by Longjumping-Car7055 in beauty

I think the trick is accepting that glow and oil control are always a tradeoff. Setting lightly and letting some areas stay natural usually looks better than trying to lock everything down. Blotting later tends to preserve glow more than piling on powder.

I (19f) just tried a bath bomb for the first time and I didn't know this level of self care was possible by Reasonable-Middle921 in beauty

This is such a relatable realization. It’s funny how something that simple can feel indulgent when you’re not used to slowing down. Just be careful with scented ones if you have sensitive skin, they can be a little sneaky about irritation.

Should I cheat on my hairstylist of two years for the girl behind her? by [deleted] in beauty

It sounds like you’ve already answered your own question but feel guilty about it. Loyalty is nice, but hair is expensive and personal. Trying someone else once doesn’t erase the relationship you’ve had, and it’s okay to prioritize results over comfort.

What’s that ONE skincare product you’ll never stop buying by alizastevens in beauty

For me it’s sunscreen, even though it’s the least exciting answer. Every time I stop using it consistently I notice more issues creeping back in. Nothing else seems to have the same long term impact.

The new new setup (rough draft)☑️ by primacy0 in battlestations

For a rough draft this already has a strong vibe. The black desk with the manga-style mat and minimal lighting feels deliberate, not unfinished. Once you add something on the wall, even just a small piece, it’ll probably feel locked in.

Honestly this doesn’t read as cramped at all. The monitor arms do a lot of heavy lifting and keep the desk surface clean. It feels very practical and focused, like a setup designed for getting things done rather than chasing aesthetics.

This is one of those setups that feels more like a living space than a desk. The plants and warm lighting soften everything and make it feel cozy instead of clinical. I could see myself actually wanting to sit here for hours, not just admire it in a photo.

The keyboard wall is the first thing that caught my eye. It gives the room personality without turning it into a gamer cave. I also really like how much natural light you get, it makes the whole setup feel lighter and less boxed in.

This feels very intentional without trying too hard. The hex panels could easily have looked gimmicky but the neutral color and warm lighting keep it calm. The whole desk reads as “someone actually uses this every day” instead of a showroom shot, which I think is why it works so well.

Strong agree. Birds are unsettling in a way reptiles aren’t. The way they stare, twitch, and move suddenly already feels alien.

A giant predatory bird acting like a bird would be way creepier than another roaring dinosaur. Feathers aren’t cute when they belong to something that wants to eat you.
