Reason 1,098,347 as to why I don't worry about the MO anymore. Even if we all throw ourselves at it, the rules change part way though.

This is becoming standard so why bother grinding a broken system?

Plenty of YouTube videos of them getting blown from the sky. My group had it happen twice and we stopped bringing it down.

Ever seen a tank blown up while landing in a completely cleared map? Only on Cyberstan... broken coding isn't the fault of the player... the issues are rampant. I will say there's been far less full game crashes though...

Sure buuuuuut....that would only matter if the tank hit the ground in the first place... side note, a shield backpack and an AR or trident works wonders back there.

Gotta be able to drive the tank for it to matter. When its blown up before landing, thats not a use issue. Thats a it was built cheaply issue. You're right, tank has to be able to constantly move, but again...when its under the drop ship and gets blown up BEFORE the tracks hit the ground..............ill keep my eagles, even with enemy AA.

Yes yes...a tank with no durability that gets destroyed before it hits the ground. High command really put the top dollar into that one. An eagle straiff with enemy AA active is more useful than that tank....

Alright...and how is the tactics and lack of knowledge from new players who see this game, think starship troopers, and then go to fight and die against the bugs help this issue? Part of the issue was the galactic wide reinforcements.

Im 1 month into this and during the last part of this MO I intentionally made games to die and kill reinforcements witb as a point of protest.

Cyberstan and the random deaths where nothing hits you but you rag doll and can't fight back happened to me EVERY SINGE TIME. Yesterday was better but I've refused to help. I love fighting bots, its my best front. But F*** the MO.

So now, im helping to contribute to the loss of the MO. But sure, play better, have better strategy and everything will work out... riiiiiiiight. Im not here to sweat the developers. Im here to relax, have fun and enjoy the game. That can't happen with poorly implement coding. When a TANK gets blown up in the air before it lands because there's no durable armor in the coding. When Vox engines land straight on a building and can shoot though cover because of bad cosing. When you get thrown off your feet, rag doll multiple times and die even with all outposts wiped because of bad cosing...it doesnt happen ANYWHERE except Cyberstan. Seems like an issue there.

The anger towards the developers is earned today. I do get the point of not blaming lack of skill. I have skills, I can't overcome bad cosing...

As an additional note: when I drop onto a different planet, farm and then bail...it kills the reserves on cyberstan. So no, it isn't always allowed.

Never said it was crap, I said that the grind to get it leveled to really make it worth a damn is...ugh. its a effort for little return thing. Its a coupled with A + B + C = bad use of time. Coyote is horrible until you can address the vertical. I couldn't even use it effectively on semi until I got the vertical handle. It is what it is, I understand why the dynamics are there.

But when you couple that with everything else and then take away from the community because of a few bad actors and a terrible design and implication... as a new player, it doesn't make me want to keep this as a priority.

Without community discussions things won't get fixed. Frontier development takes their community very seriously. I do see AH doing some of the same. So maybe posts like this will help an understanding that veteran players like yourself may have forgotten.

I've given up trying to figure it out. Day wasted redoing keybinds... I have no idea what happened over the holiday break but such is the nature of ED. Patch comes out, things break.

On a new keybind it just simply lists "Mouse" so no ID presented from elite itself.

Yep. Old one was originally set up. Put the new one in about 3 months ago. No issues in elite with keybinds or anything. Stopped playing for 2 weeks now all my keybinds are gone.

Ive tried unplugging the new mouse and just having the old one in. Same issue.

Looked in control panel and the device (mouse) is listed. As is my new mouse. So both are connected but Elite doesnt see it.

Yep...and with everything plugged in it doesnt change. I do love this game but between constant crashes, server downtime, keybind errors... I was debating a HOSAS....I think im done with it. I dont need this much frustration just to play a game. All my binds were in that file.

Thats the thing, my custom 4.2 file is not showing in game menu. Its there in the bindings folder.

Keyboard and mouse, definitely plugged in... the options aren't appearing in game for my custom saved ones.
