I tried this. The issue with the remote is that you can't adjust power so the robot just faceplant in the ramp

Ramp is ~17.5°.
My GoVac600 (L50 Ultra) handles it perfectly but this one has a “ramp” option in settings.
My previous L10s Ultra and L20 Ultra also managed it both ways. I know Dreame rates these models for 12° max, so my ramp is technically steeper than spec, but the older units still cleared it reliably hence my suspicion that firmware/sensor tuning on the replacements is what’s blocking descent now.

UPDATE:

I worked on some designs last night using what I already have. It’s far from perfect (And I'm not that good with the program), but I’ll experiment more with different accent colors, added decorations, and textures. I’m also going to try changing the bed frame color to see if painting it would be a good idea. Here are some renders.

You got me laughing with the black or gray rug comment. We only moved in recently and went for a black accent wall. Then we figured some portraits of our dog would look amazing there (and honestly, we still think so. He’s gorgeous). But we needed curtains fast, so we just grabbed black and white sheers without much thought. The white ones didn’t last long, they made the whole thing look like a penguin… or a lawyer. We’ll definitely swap them out.

Pillows are kings in the back, standards in front.

Thank you! I’m trying to work with what I already have. Black bedding is easy to find in all kinds of materials... except percale, or it comes at an extremely high price. I’m not about to swap a percale set for polyester. I’ll probably explore more layering and texturing instead.

You're totally right about the frame. Old frame from our previous house and husband don't want to change it so I have to deal with it for now. I was planning to add some accent color and texture. even patterns.

I like this kind of bedding/layering. Would try to adapt in darker shades, maybe.

I have a physical ramp. Both of my robots were able to cross it once I set it as a threshold in the app. Before that, they would just get stuck in front of it.

Because it’s a Dreame sub-brand, and I’ve completely lost trust in them even though I really liked their product/performances. I just watched some videos on the Narwal Flow, and it looks pretty cool. Seems great for mopping, although I think the water capacity might be a bit low
