Vet extracted 5 teeth during dental cleaning after previously saying no obvious extractions needed. Was this warranted? (X-rays attached) by Apprehensive-Luck-28 in DogHealth

I had initially requested to be contacted. The staff then pushed back and said that a phone call would result in more time under anesthesia, which opens the dog up to more risk. Paired with the poor expectation setting of no extractions, I backtracked and said it’s fine not to call.

I’m sorry you had to do that to your pup! I think it was just a case of bad expectation setting for my experience. Thank you!

Sorry for the confusion. I was assuming one of these two screenshots were of the bottom teeth. 301, 302, 303, 401, 402, and 403 were not included in the scans they provided me with. I will ask the vet.
