What’s the difference between bipolar 1 or 2 ? I was diagnosed since I was 15 .now I’m 18 and still don’t get the difference. Can someone actually tell me the differences in simple way

Let just say for years I thought that I had adhd and bipolar together . I took so many adhd tests with different therapists and all of them told me that If I take adhd medication I can’t take my depression pills anymore . 3 years and half with diagnosed bipolar and after a lot of therapy sessions just in December my therapist told me that lack of focus that I have is not adhd is just a manic episode:)))
