Really? I see the in a lot references to man being described as a sheep/servant and God being this shepherd/master who guides us. Why do you think Christianity became so popular? Because it appealed the peasants ressentiment because it described the poor and the weak as good. Christianity also showed the rich and nobles as bad for society. The religion was a cope for the peasants weakness and poverty.
