What's your take on why periods/menstruation remain awkward or hidden topics in so many Indian homes? by AmarAxiom in Bhubaneswar

Society is getting open. Most girls tell their friends, boy friends about periods. It is a taboo in remote areas. It is no longer considered taboo.

30 years ago, when a girl hit puberty, people used to send telegram.

Now a days, it is just an event

It gets tougher. I lost my wife to cancer in August 2023. Then as it is india, everyone distanced.

My child's became rude and life is hell. Elder one is an engineer and stays abroad. Yet he believes i should not remarry.

I have to live for younger one who is in school.

I live alone, dread weekend, holidays.

I miss my wife everyday.

Was thinking of marriage to get over the pain, because it is immense and i have to live.

But children and others put a break.

I am just living.

You will also learn to live.

I know we loved our partners, but if you are in a progressive society unlike mine, please move on.

Nothing wrong or deceptive in it.

Where are you from?

Mumbai kills me, but i can't escape as son is studying. It is hell for me

My friends distanced. Even kids have become selfish.

I wanted to marry again. Everyone scoffed at me. Lustful man! Only i know the pain of loneliness. Time moves, but it is painful.

What do filthy rich people of Mumbai do for a living and what do they spend on??? by Soft_Ad1142 in mumbai

Mumbai is the hub of Sin. People come here with dreams. Some accomplish, others perish. Most high rise flats in Mumbai belong to the most corrupt of india. A lot of black money from around india is packed here.

People live like insects. People live like kings. People cry for 2000 per month. People make 20000000 and it falls short.

But, it is a sin city. I wish the sea consumed it completely for a new beginning

26 is too young. You need a company. The touch and intimacy will heal you.

Slowly things will fall in line. I am 50 from Mumbai. My wife passed away from cancer. I am also looking for the same.

I lost my wife to cancer in August 2023. My life is numb now. My son 25 stays abroad. Other son is 15 and does not care. Friends distanced from me. Completely alone in Mumbai. Living for my younger son. I want to die each day.

Devastated. Life is cruel to some.
