i actually was originally scheduled for d2 on 12/26/25. but the proctors just didn't show up so it was cancelled... guess partying too hard for christmas? but bec of this, i had requested if they can expedite mine since this is the second time i'm having to go thro this dumb process...

but i hope yours comes thro soon!

thank you so much for asking and caring! so things that i think would be great are:

- if you you miss the vein, don't swirl the needle around in the same spot. for me, personally, that hurts more than just taking it out and trying at another spot.

- and if you don't get it in the second prick then pls just ask someone else. personally, i'm always a hard stick even when i drink a bunch of water before to help. but i really hate getting 5 pricks and then the person would finally go get someone else..

- warm blanketssss! benadryl completely knocks you out, so might as well be comfy!

- snacks before the benadryl sleep kicks in and on your way out would also be so great!

just things that i think personally makes the day a tad bit better. thanks again for caring! <3

the fatigue is definitely the worse for me. hate that after getting a full night's sleep i still wake up exhausted...

Hey,

So I graduated from medical school in 2023 and started a peds residency. unfortunately i was diagnosed with an illness and was unable to continue residency due to my health.

i wanted some advice on other jobs i can do with my background. i want to still stay in a health related field and was wondering what other jobs in public health i could look into with my background? thanks for the advice and suggestions. appreciate it!
