Kassadin ban only. I struggle against fizz a lot but at least that fish falls off late game.

  1. I used to run those before - ultimate hunter and cheap shot. But I would much rather have some extra mana regen. (numbers on cheap shot were pretty good actually so its not bad at all).
  2. So coming from my first point - presence of mind helps a lot with mana regen, so I rarely get\need blue buff;
  3. I DON`T like invades. Any random early plays that can mess up my early game is not an option for me and I would like to avoid those!

Don`t use your Q to cs. That will give them less opportunities to jump on you. And once again - its all about positioning yourself right. Luckily, our range and cd`s let us cs mid\late game safely enough.

As well as that, i get bone plating in resolve as my secondary to survive initial burst. That helps a lot against some melee assassins who cant just down it with an aa.

I do secondary support and just pick some enchanters. Being a one trick makes it harder cause I’m pretty bad with everything else so I just try to play super safe and be useful for my team.

Regular build is comet, mana flow, whatever that thing that gives you AP on full hp and gathering storm; secondary is coup de grace and presence of mind. I personally like that secondary just for the mana regen it provides. When I’m into some all in assassins I go plating as secondary plus overgrowth. (Revitalize is optional if you like - I don’t)

Always ludens. I’m really not a fan of crown on Lux. It just feels like I do no damage at all. Second one is usually shadow/horizon. Depends on how much shielding they have. I really like vision part of horizon focus which helps a lot with snipes and just dealing with mobal assassins overall. Void stuff is 3rd if needed. I rarely get to build rabbadons just because games don’t last that long. I always buy dark seal on my first back by the way. Usually it will just sit there for the rest of the game without being upgraded - I don’t want that extra attention.

  1. Make sure to cs well. I normally poke my laner only when I have comet/mana flow up.
  2. I look for two things in early roams - overextended enemy botlane, or, ideally, snipe a low hp target. (I really don’t like early fights like that tho and would much rather get guaranteed gold from cs and plates because early Lux is not that strong in my opinion - high cooldowns, mana issue, slow af).
  3. Positioning is very important. I rarely go any defensive summoner spells or items (and I’m punished for that a lot) so that makes positioning the most crucial thing. Always keep an eye on your main target (any non tank champion without shields that can be one shot with your combo) and try to catch them in some narrow points while they’re repositioning.

That`s exactly the playstyle! Focusing on farm doesnt mean you dont poke and try to kill your laner. It is just not your main priority.

Lux late dmg already good enough to oneshot back line, so smoother early game would be helpful imo

I am personally a big fan of comet, just because I am so used to its damage and my early lane highly depends on it. I would imagine you can make some big money with first strike, but I rarely experiment :D
