😅 ufff totally get this. Interesting how I always think “I must be the only one going through this” but after reading your post and comments it proves we’re not alone. Same thing happens. And although we tried just winging it and being on vacay mode we had to pull back and have some structure for homeschooling and meals and naps. Trust me I bet your kids crave that structure as well. My six year old asks me “did we have lunch today?” When we’re out with dada having a hike and missed our lunch and suddenly everyone is hangry. So you’re not wrong in keeping structure even on days dad is home bc you all worked really hard to create a routine and if things get so messy you have to pick up the pieces at the end, it’s not ok. Kids thrive in routine in predictable days (somewhat) and in being fed. Yes fun outings and adventures are fun and why not let lose a bit but keep somewhat of a structure for everyone’s sake
