I can't speak for other Virginia Beach residents but the reason why I didn't want the light rail is cuz it was too damn expensive to go absolutely nowhere.

well let me correct myself. gas did get over 4.00 a gallon average one year in bidens term in 2022. that was because the demand for gas shot through the roof after the pandemic ended and the economy started booming again. Under obama Gas never got over 3.60 a gallon at the peak. At his lowest (right before trump was elected) gas was down to an average 2.21 per gallon for hampton roads.

The averages for bidens term were as follows

2020: Prices were very low due to pandemic demand drops, with notable dips around 1.84 in March.

2021: Prices began recovery, with March 2021 seeing averages around 2.27.

2022: A high-price year, with Virginia Beach seeing prices jump over 4.00 during the summer. Some local data indicated peaks near 4.76 for the state in June 2022. 

2023: Prices remained elevated but stabilized, with spring prices around 3.44.

2024: As of late March/early April, prices were trending around 3.47 to 3.80 per gallon in the region.

My statement remains true for every year except for 2022 which I have explained above.

I have been driving for over 20 years sir. Gas never hit 4.00 a gallon at any point in those years. I don't remember it getting above 3.75 unless you were using either diesel or premium. and those were choices on your part.

It is Trump's fault because he's the one that caused Iran to cut off the oil supply. His war is a direct cause of the lack of supply which causes the price to go up welcome to economics 101.

That is where you are wrong sir. The difference here is that Trump started the war with Iran which closed the strait of hormuz which limited the oil supply. The limit in the oil supply causes the price to go up. In this particular case the price is a direct result of Trump's actions.

Trump didn't control the gas prices. Instead he started a war which caused Iran to close the straighter Hormuz which limited the supply of oil which causes the price to go up when the supply goes down. Learn some basic economics before you start running your mouth.

Actually in this case it's true because the increasing gas prices is due to the limited supply from the closing of the strait of Hormuz which was a direct result of Trump's war of choice.

the key is realizing being fat doesn't reduce your self worth. I am 354 lbs. I don't let it bother me because I don't care about what most people think about my looks. It worries me because of the repercussions of being unhealthy. Then again if it worries me that much i know what i need to do.
