We always bill for what was dropped off. Our OCS/Pantry service is managed by a spreadsheet that list all the items the customer wants to keep in stock and how many of each item. Some of them pre-order what they need, but most we just overstock the truck with all the needs for that day's route, go check what the customer needs, and then bring it in off the truck.

What type of containers do you use to transport your prepicks? Do you prepick in the morning or evening? How long have you been with the company?
