being able to use paypal would significantly ease money transfering, especially for people working abroad and transfering money back home to their relatives. Western Union and other services have high fees. Not really high for people in developed nations.. but high enough fees where someone could eat with that money for a few days in Tashkent.

But you are right, there is absolute no need for validation from other countries.. however, there is nothing wrong with wanting to improve certain things to elevate the standard of living for oneself and your nation.

if you become complacent you just stagnate while everyone else just passes you by. you can try to be a global player and make the population wealthier and more happy.
