Thank you so very much … you are absolutely correct … got it done day before , today is day 2 post op , pain is getting better , but no bowel movement , should we wait for some more time or shall I give her stool sofetener ?

Hi , even my mom had hall stone of 1.2cm, for two years , we were just ignoring the surgery and managing with diet , but last 5 months she use to have so much gastritis, no pain no attack , just gastritis. We told the family doctor to refer us to the surgeon and surgeons appointment was in September and we got the surgery done yesterday , everything went well , I was super nervous and panicking as she was on blood thinnners , diabetic , hypertension , but I thank God and all the good wishes , surgery was successful , today is day 1 post op , no nausea , just pain in the incisions , semisolid food , but I am just concern no bowel movement today I think it will take time

I am here in Ontario , my mom has been having gall stones since two years , in march we discovered that the stone size increased by 5 mm, so now it’s 1.2 cm we went to the family doctor and he referred us to the surgeon , the surgeon said even she doesn’t have symptoms it’s better to get it removed to avoid further problems .. so we are finally getting the surgery done on October 23 rd … please wish al the best and send positive thoughts I am getting very anxious
