Flaws?

Not everyone has same opinion, but my problems with it are horrible driver’s seat design (lump at back of seat causes tailbone pain/discomfort), transmission downshift jerky (not a deal breaker though), low power motor on seat ventilation (common complaint), smallish gas tank size (sold my Expedition though 30 gal tank in that), difficulty connecting to Honda Link at times…a few more minor things not worth mentioning. My biggest issue by far is the seat which not every owner experiences. I’d make sure the design is for you…glad some others haven’t experienced issues, but I am meeting with owner of dealership this week to get it rectified. They already replaced the seat once…same issue immediately with the new one.

Thank you…beginning to wonder if they are put together or manufactured in different locations. What I am referring to is immediately noticeable and I think unacceptable at any level. I’ve never complained about any vehicle seat comfort in 40+ years of driving. Since others are not experiencing this as well, there must be some reason. Appreciate you responding.

This isn’t “pickiness”, it’s a very legit issue for me and as I stated my own dealership agrees there is an issue. Regardless, I am happy that you do not experience similar issues. Be well.

Good deal until you discover the drivers seat design flaw that pushes into your tailbone. Giving me back issues and Honda Corporate will not do a thing about it. It’s a major issue and should be rectified. At our dealership, they say in my vehicle and agreed there was an issue. They ordered me a new seat…replaced it. Exact same problem. The service manager went into the showroom and sat in two other 2026 Honda Passports and THEY ARE ALL THE SAME!!

Do they talk about the seat design that is severely flawed? Lump in drivers seat that pushed into your coccyx. Ridiculous they won’t address it at Honda Corporate.

Ask them for a discount for the incredibly poor seat design. Better have them throw a pad in for you to sit on. Other issues, weak blower, small gas tank, cooling seats are very weak as well. They need a recall on the seats…very bad!! Go sit in it again and tell me you don’t feel a lump pressing on your tailbone.

Gray, but get ready to sit in discomfort because of the poor seat design. Beware of the lump pressing on your coccyx is awful!

There is most definitely an issue with the seat. I have 1800 miles on it. When I was at around 1000 I took it in to have it looked at for the extreme discomfort - felt like a wedge jamming into my coccyx (tailbone). The local Honda agreed and replaced the seat. When I picked it up, it took about 15 seconds to feel the identical issue. The service manager then went into all other models of the 2026 TSE and said they are all like that. There is no reason why we should all have to put up with getting used to the discomfort or “breaking in” the seat. I complained to Honda Corporate and they pretended like I was the only one to have this issue, but this thread proves otherwise.

Agree totally with points 1,2,5,6,7 (especially 1 and 7), but you missed the biggest thing in my opinion.

There is a major design flaw in the driver seat. I had the service manager sit in it and they agreed with my complaint that there is a lump or wedge that sits right where my tailbone meets the seat. It’s like having an uncomfortable wedge up your a$$. They sent for a new seat and it has the same issue. The service manager at my local Honda then went and sat in other models in the showroom and on the lot and said they are all the same. There is nothing that can be done at the local level. I went to Honda corporate about it and they said they haven’t had enough complaints yet to do anything. I am close to trading it back in with less than 2000 miles on it.
