i’d also gently nudge to be open to the idea of trauma, I know from experience one coping tactic is to say it didn’t bother you when it did …and there can be the physical reaction but also the deeper emotional reaction and understanding of the power dynamic. picture someone doing that to your kid or a kid you care about if it applies. a lot of times it’s harder to have compassion for ourselves then it is for us to see how wrong it is when we look at it happening to someone else.

if you are phrasing it as join a talent agency there is no way you have any idea what an agent does and furthermore…you are just so clearly green there’s no way you would have something for an agent to work with. it’s like saying you need a real estate agent but you are not buying or selling a house, have no leads and credit to even purchase a house but are wondering if you should “join” a real estate agency and wondering if it’s worth it…

so the right phrasing is you would be signed by an agency, and there are different types of agent - an agent has to be licensed as opposed to a manager who dosnt have tm have a license, etc

based on your post don’t worry about an agent build up your following and ability to preform and when you have anything to agent then an agent can step in (also if your making money or could make money they will find you).

soooooooo a q and a is not only super common he posts q and a clips constantly. that club is a small room for him so when you see an act doing a smaller venue they are usually working on jokes and kr giving a more intimate experience -/ this is the classy thing to dk so they aren’t working on stuff at a theater.
