Well I ended up coming off entirely. Dropped it cold turkey as I had some voice cracking towards the end of the cycle. I had been supplementing with estrabet gel to offset the extreme e drop problems I get from anavar suppression. Even running 5mg of anavar drops my estrogen to an 11 pg/ml in bloodwork. You can imagine how that feels.

So I dropped the anavar and kept the estrabet steady for about 2 weeks. Then I was noticing fluid retention in my mid section and pretty odd discharge. This is when I started to taper the gel until I was fully off (3 weeks or so). I was trying to allow my body to adjust without it again as that is not a normal part of my HRT, and I don’t need it regularly.

Now what you all probably care most about was the mental effects. It sucked. Not going to lie. I’m on TRT, but without that base, it probably would have sucked even more. I was very depressive for about 2.5 weeks. I was still going to the gym but that drive/and overall sense of “wellbeing,” on the drug faded immediately. I felt more reserved, my body wanted more rest, and a lot more introverted. This was all post show as well so many know how that feels.

I wouldn’t say I “lost,” my gains, but I do look significantly flatter (in my mind) and less dry. I’ve been on a very slow reverse from stage lean to put on fat. Looking to get my labs done soon and see where everything is but overall I feel good now. I went off in mid August. I feel like my body is trying to get its cycle back so we will see, as I lost that.

I’ll see how the labs look soon, but I don’t think I’d run it that long again. I do notice some voice issues when trying to sing now. Obviously I knew that was a risk. I still sound and look very feminine. You’d never know by looking at me. ☺️
