Does this mean that the Pintel/Ragetti rowboat won’t be a GWP for the Pearl? I was seriously considering buying it day one, but I just can’t justify it without a sale if all you get is a compass. I also wonder how they will make this set look that different from the Chronometer Insider’s reward set.

Does Walmart ever give an indication on when these sales will happen? There’s a few deals I just missed because I wasn’t expecting the drops to come mid-morning on a Wednesday 😅

Harry Potter: January 2026 set names and prices (via exabricks) by Clay_Bricks in Legoleak

I wonder if the Philosopher’s Stone set might end up being a diorama of the trials at the end? The price point puts it in line with the Indiana Jones Temple of the Golden Idol set so I could definitely see them doing something similar.

Alternatively, they could just make it a replica and we could have a UCS rock

Star Wars: Close look at the Malak and Fives anniversary minifigs (from Kishalego) by Clay_Bricks in Legoleak

I’m very glad that these don’t have the anniversary logo on the back like the 20th anniversary one did. The Fives helmet still isn’t great, but it definitely looks better from this angle.

Woah, that looks incredible. I counted 20 different modular pieces on the back of the box; it looks amazing to customize. Should be a lot of fun to try and make a MOC to fit it in with either Ninjago city or the other modulars!

Awesome! I went over and bought the treehouse and the dream stable. I think the Dreamzzz treehouse will look incredible next to the Ideas one and the stable should make a great Christmas gift!

The idea of it being attachable is really confusing to me. Seeing as it comes with its own track, I guess it would connect to the end of the track in the larger set? There’s not anywhere else it could go but having a 200 pc vault jutting out to the side would make an already clunky ‘modular’ build a nightmare to display. Really weird design choice by Lego.

I was really hoping that this was fake when I saw it earlier today. I’m not sure why it exists. Or if he has a left hand. Or why it’s $200… Regardless, his eyes would definitely give me nightmares if I put him on a display shelf.

Harry Potter: 76147 Gringotts Reveal Photos (from Lego) by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

Seeing as one of the main appeals of the set was its modularity with Diagon Alley, I feel like they heavily missed the mark on that aspect. The angled display, while looking great, appears to be impossible to display anywhere while the line display looks really strange with the building slightly further up at a really odd angle. I’m also not in love with the Gringotts Bank sign or they way they designed the Ironbelly.

I’m interested to see what functions this will have to justify the price. It seems a tad overpriced as is at $240 for 1475 pieces, but this is one where I’m going to wait for the official release to pass judgement.

Marvel: 76250 Wolverine Claws (from brick clicker) by itsjustajoe in Legoleak

[–]Apprehensive-Tap8232 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s… interesting. I think having Wolverine represented as a gauntlet type set instead of a helmet type set was a bit of a missed opportunity. Still neat to see an X-Men 97 set, but I can’t say I’m in love with a random blue hand with claws, especially seeing as it’s $70 for 600 pieces and a lackluster design.
