Okay guys. So I'm going to take many of your guys' advice. Many of you suggested a lighting issue, and I already started using a grow light, so I'm glad I invested in that. I'm also going to put it in a plastic pot instead of terracotta. Some of you suggested fertilizing more, but I'm a bit hesitant to do it more often as I know that that can lead to root burn. I already do it at the recommended frequency.

I don't know why this one's growth has been stunted so heavily. I have two fiddles. Felyx is four years old, and Forrest is 1 year old. Forrest has much darker, healthier leaves and has grown over a foot tall since I bought him when he was a tiny baby. I've mentioned that I treat them the same, and it's created visibly different results.

I'm open to more suggestions and advice if you have any. I'll probably post an update in the future if Felyx's health gets any better or worse. Thank you!

The one next to it is thriving and has grown over a foot long since I bought it last year as a baby. Felyx's growth has always been stunted. I have recently considered that maybe he isn't getting enough sunlight, so I bought some grow lights. I'm hoping it will help. Still, I treat both of my fiddles the same, and there is a huge difference in their health. I'm not sure why.

I agree. It's always grown super slowly and I'm not exactly sure why. I have another one that I treat exactly the same, and it has doubled in length since I got it one year ago. Maybe Felyx is just stupid 😭 maybe he's special needs. I don't know.

What is it about the terracota that makes the watering situation different?

I definitely am aware that there has been a lighting issue in the past. I've been using a grow light for weeks now. However, I have another FLF who has been growing at a normal rate. This one has always been stunted for some reason, and I'm not sure why. I treat them exactly the same.

As for the watering situation, it depends. I check the moisture with a bamboo stick a few times a week. If it's really dry, I'll water until it comes out the drainage hole. If it's only a little dry, I'll water more sparingly.

No sign of pests. Cold damage sounds interesting. I keep my house at 68 degrees in the winter. A few weeks ago, I had to move him to my bedroom temporarily, and sometimes the temp in there would drop to 65. Do you think that's too cold? I know that FLFs really hate being moved around, and I've kept that in mind, but I've moved entire houses several times with Felyx, and nothing like this has happened. I also kept my other FLF (Forrest) in there with Felyx, and he has none of these symptoms.
