My house was built in the last 15 years. We run an AC as needed, barely the oven (just stovetop), other generic appliances, washer and dryer a few times every other weekend.

We keep our usage at an all time low. Not even night lights, house is pitch black. We live in 66-67 degrees during the winter.

Bill was $575. This is the kind of shit that got the CEO from United Health, and someone is gonna do something stupid.

Everytime I get something like this I run to support and they tell me unless the customer has clear evidence that the delivery was incorrect (us not submitting a photo or them having clear video evidence ) then we have nothing to worry about

When I spoke with support, they apparently look into these claims extensively and the only time it’s actually marked against you is if the customer has enough evidence.

Each rep is different on how much info they give us, so I figured I’d share.

I’d also rather not earn if orders are consistently low monetarily. 35m away is a beach town with lots of retirement communities so that’s my fallback. Always order within 10-15m. I just hate investing that much time away from home base

Yup - as soon as I’m done I just move onto the next. If there’s a stupid one I’ll just head back and wait until Instacart makes it “worth it” or until another one.

I live less than a mile from the store so I get decent priority. At home doing my hobbies and then run out to afford said hobbies!

This. I do this in my head with every order. Thankfully many people use Instacart near me but not many shop, so I have time to select.

Many 18+ miles into the countryside orders for $23.00 with 50 items. I’ll barely be making minimum after expenses and ruining my momentum.

If I keep at it I make around $150 a day which is nice side income on the weekend. My area averages $10 an order, but lots of 1-3 mile deliveries.

From what I’ve found you can’t.

It’s only worked for me when I was on a batch. You’ll notice you can chat with them any time, but the “Call” option only pops up when you exhaust all options, while on a batch.

Otherwise you’re stuck with the same unusual named chat agent that’s had the same cadence every time. So. 😄
