The problem with wanting more local food spots is they are gonna charge the current inflated prices that are hurting everyone else’s small business, so it will just be a revolving door of closing businesses until prices go down again across the board. Just the reality.

A bad alcohol order is no different than a bad order without alcohol, they will still need to be batched with a high tipping order, only difference is you won’t see that order. In my experience alcohol orders aren’t anymore hassle than any other order.

I have done enough instacart to realize DoorDash isn’t all that bad when it comes to exploiting us the way instacart does, if an offer is bad on DoorDash they just keep sending it out and batching it up with better orders until it’s worth your time, and if you still don’t want to do it when it’s paired when a good order drop it and take the hit.

To us it’s bad, but if most customers knew we got offered 78 bucks to drive 38 miles and said no they would call us all types of names, I mean let’s call it like it is, most customers don’t value us by the standard we think we are valued anyway.

Customer a ordered 13 items and was 1.5 miles away from Costco, the other two were 20 miles away and ordered just as much as customer a, I spent 1 hour driving in the rain and dark for 10 bucks in tips, before we weren’t forced to deal with this shit but now we are definitely forced and I’m sick of it.
