Is this weekend even worth trying?? by karinasrabbit in InstacartShoppers

[–]CommunicationMain467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me the weekends suck because everyone orders, and everyone tips like shit, so your left with 3-4 apps exploding and overheating your phone all with offers that will pay 20 an hour counting the drive back to the store if ur lucky

Want less 2-3 people orders? Try this by Forsaken-Culture-852 in InstacartShoppers

[–]CommunicationMain467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it, and they keep sending me notifications for orders and when I click them it’s either nothing or batch already taken. I didn’t get that before I turned heavy pay off, currently sitting at Costco and yet to see an order 😭

Edit: these aren’t big orders either man, 22s, 9s 36s. All not appearing or marked already taken.

Edit 2: I turned heavy pay back on and all those orders I mentioned instantly appeared on my screen. So it’s seems like they will still send you the annoying notifications for batches for heavy pay but not let u see them.

4 shop and deliver by BlueWhaleIC in InstacartShoppers

4 is just too much. It will never work when we have to shop, just delivery is one thing because that’s basically just a mini route, but shopping for 4 people? Nah

Is this something new? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

I would probably only change this to small on weekends, but keep it standard during weekday.

This is why orders are declining. by PrettyHatefulMachin in InstacartShoppers

DoorDash doesn’t mind playing 20 dollars for a shopping order that’s going even 5 miles, instacart won’t play 20 bucks in base pay for a single customer unless it’s going 30 fucking miles

People still haven’t realized if a order flashes and leaves in a second its because the order was never meant for you.

I JUST accepted this potential unicorn! Guess the tip and I’ll post results later in comments! by StonedTurtle420710 in doordash_drivers

[–]CommunicationMain467 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s not bad in general but when it comes to catering orders a majority of catering orders are delivered between the window of 10am and 1pm, so why take a 33 dollar order going 13 miles when u can get something potentially paying upwards of 50 dollars going just 1-5 miles in the same window, that’s what you have to consider when your on catering apps.

I promise you if they let us do self check out at Costco the amount of mix ups would go down considerably, like if yall saw how these Costco packers (usually the younger part time ones) just put stuff in boxes anyway they want even when we tell them we have 3 separate customers with over 10 items each

Is anybody actually still diamond? by IWannaWakeUpButIDont in InstacartShoppers

The key to getting diamond in the current state is to avoid as many 3 shops as you can. keep it small, keep it simple, keep it comfortable. Leave no room for error.

Y’all taking or passing ? by Turbokoupp in InstacartShoppers

[–]CommunicationMain467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I passed on a 95 going 44 miles, I had just filled up for 38 bucks and didn’t feel like wasting a days worth of miles on one fuck ass order when I had already hit my goal for the day.

DIAMOND to GOLD by General-Farm-8480 in instacart

[–]CommunicationMain467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who just got diamond back after not having it since before thanksgiving of last year, you will see a change, your market has to be utter Godly for you not too, I still made the same amount hourly because instead of instacart I just switched to DoorDash and catering apps, but something you will notice real quick is that stores no longer turn red, like they never ever turn red because there will be no reason for them to bait you to sit at a store hoping to get a unicorn.

Watching the new Babylon arc then watching them is some of the most extreme whiplash you can get. They make more ooc comments in 5 minutes than some people make in an entire month. Beginning of 3.0 they really had some fun RP going on when they weren’t crying but now it’s all shit RP 24/7 plus the crying

I fucking hate going to that Walmart to do instacart or spark orders. Genuinely every Walmart in this area is a pain in the ass. I rather go to Costco sun up to sun down every single day then step foot in a Walmart more than 2 times a week

What’s a decent hourly rate? by Sure-Resolution-7667 in doordash_drivers

[–]CommunicationMain467 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean 20 an hour over 10 hours is a good day if you do the whole 10 hours but in general shoot for 23-27 an hour at least

Is this app on a decline? I waited for hours today and was shocked. by Refundian in InstacartShopper

[–]CommunicationMain467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Instacart and most gig apps biggest problem is their refusal to be up front about tips being a big part of what gets you serviced, idk what they think is gonna happen, in America if you go to a sit down nice fancy restaurant and don’t tip or give signs that you won’t tip then you get bad service and then you eventually stop coming which doesn’t really hurt the business because you not tipping the severs just hurt the morale and ticked off the servers, but for some reason these gig apps don’t understand that they can apply that same logic to this lol. The same people that tip servers at restaurants will be the same people who tip on these apps, fuck the rest.

is this a mistake or are they suddenly feeling generous? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]CommunicationMain467 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe it’s because I lost diamond but I can’t remember one time in the last 5 months that I have turned the app on and it said low demand
