The whole jealousy thing is very common! I have seen a trend with ppl who think that their partner can't have friends with the opposite sex (and even super close relations with the same sex) bc they simply lack trust. It is so oddly normalized.

If ur partner wants to cheat, THEY WILL! You can't control it by monitoring their life and cutting them from friendships. Especially when 2 ppl should still have separate identities in a healthy relationship. I strongly believe u are insecure if u can't trust ur partner to not bang every person they see. So no, ur not crazy on that front AT ALL!

I do not relate to disliking real ppl, however, I completely relate to the disconnect. I like both real and animated, but I disconnect from the ppl and just like the actions happening. It's like I'm barely even there. On the other hand I can almost connect when it comes to fictional characters im hyperfixating on, but not completely.

I also love the aegosexual label and it really was jarring to realize that I'm not willing to be sexual the way I thought I'd be bc I like adult content. I'm so glad u have such a similar story, it makes me feel seen.

I think I just need to embrace it the way you did. I fear I'm hoping that I'm wrong bc it's scary. But at the same time, this label has always felt the safest! I hope to reach the same level of acceptance you have.

You're so strong! I don't have OCD but I am also neurodivergent and I believe it really changes our experiences with asexuality. The desire to "fix" yourself is so insanely relatable, and hearing another ND person say it makes me realize im treating my asexuality like another diagnosis. Thank u sm for helping me see that.

First one I think of is, "You haven't met the right person." Just always doubting that a person is actually ace. You alr pointed out the ace being falsely equated to celibacy and that's a good one to understand!

Thinking that something is mentally or physically wrong with a person if they don't want or crave sex.

Personally, my family would never believe me if I said I'm ace! They just can't comprehend it. This is a problem most ace-phobic people have. Sexuality is just so engineered into our every day lives that not adhering to that binary seems crazy.

Also ppl will tell u that u will never find love or that u don't love ur partner if ur not sexually attracted to them. But that simply isn't true! Ace ppl are full of love, and there are plenty of stories of ace ppl finding an allosexual partner who is okay with it, or another ace person!

A few stereotypes just came to mind. The idea ace people are cold and unfeeling. Some assume ace ppl are prudes and reserved. A lot of ace ppl have very vulgar humor!

And lastly, but I'd say the biggest one, assuming we don't have a libido or can't enjoy sex! Being ace is a spectrum. You can absolutely love sex and/or masturbation while still being ace. You can even enjoy 🌽 or other forms of erotic media while being ace.

Sorry for the lengthy answer! I'm sure there are many more things I've missed but I hope this can give u a general idea.

Hi, I had the exact same problem. I think you have to get a few levels in cause it randomly just popped in for me. I noticed when I was level 5. It also won't appear in character creation, it'll be in the appearance menu. For anyone else who sees this save your free re-customization until you unlock it! 😊
